Cognizant is a big company...i don't think its a fair salary bro after 3.3 years 54000 INR = 640 usd is still not fair ..In Pakistan medium IT Company pays 80000 pkr = 287 usd to freshers and big companies pays 100000 - 120000 = 430- usd to freshers.... and after 3.3 year the minimal reach is almost 200000 = 718 usd I think due to huge supply of talent and cost of living is good, their salaries are low... and here in pakistan cost of living is high and supply is very low...so the bearly talented individual get good salary.... Conculsion : Indian IT companies should raise their standards. .....

Sir when the students of batch 2022 will get FTE onboard???? We completed our CSD and also cleared our SME evaluation with good results. And it's been month of our results... Bt , yesterday we got a mail like, DOJ for FTE in the month of June only... Already so many months passed.. Still they extend this to four to five months... What is the reason behind this sir?????still we did not get any salary from this company?

You will get your salary after onboarding, if you are not onboarded you will not get any salary. Delay in joining is because companies are loosing their clients. They will give your DOJ soon

Brother, i have full-time experience of 1.5 years and 7 months internship experience. I get around 31k in 1.5 years of my current small scale company. I work as Fullstack dev with major focus on React and intermediate level Java developer. I am thinking of switching to another company after 3 months as they have 3 months notice period. What salary should I expect if i switch to cognizant? & Also my next question is, should i add my 7 months Internship Experience in and show 2.7 years experience after 6 months? Because I have actual certifications of internship too.🙏

Salary range mainly depend on your experience and your profile. That's something I can't comment. For the internship experience, if you have done that after your graduation then definitely you should include that, if done during graduation then that won't be considered. Thanks

You will be promoted from programmer trainee to programmer automatically after one year. In the next year, you will be automatically promoted from programmer to programmer analyst. Based on how many resources that are in the same role as you are in your project, you will be promoted to associate level after a year or maybe two years. If the other resource is doing better than you, that person will be promoted after one year to associate level, you will take two years to reach associate level. This is how it works. For the first two years, it isn't competitive.

As said only for first year it's default for all, but from 2nd year onwards depends on 'your performance'+ manager rating and company's growth as well

If you stay in the same company and get a good rating (of course have to get a good rating to survive in one IT company for a decade and have to be very hard working ) you can earn up to 18 to 20 lac Plus the possibility of an onsite opportunity. You can earn a fortune. If you change your company salary can go up to 25 to 30 lacs again it depends on your technology.

@@TheCorporateGuys humko email me, merit increase is coming early bolke March/April me ayega bolke email bheje. Aur last October me jin logon ko pehle hike nahi aaya Dec 2021 rating ke baad, sirf unko aaya. But going forward I think it will be yearly once , in March/April. Please check once.

@Study Material : half yearly hike was a one time concept , after the hike 1800 INR flat internet expenses was removed for cost cutting reasons .

there is one internal portal of cognizant you can apply from there in the domain you interested in.

It's very difficult but not impossible. I already change my domain and technology once. However, it can only be possible if you are in PDP or GDP or there are no projects in your technology. You can reach out to the practice head of other technology and check if they are reskilling. Sometimes HR also provides this option if your track record is good.

Useless video u r explaining only based on your end in cognizant. It is not explained in a generalized way in ur video. Currently they upgraded their policies and revised their salary structure also....u have to make salary expectation video on today's scenario not past scenario.

If you passed out in aug'22 , then it's only 6 months not 1 year. Companies provide the salary after the onboarding, noone will give money before onboarding.

no limit depends on your technology one can earn up to 30 lacs also :).However, in case of recession slow down . You can also lose your job. I can only saw both Govt jobs and IT jobs have their pros and cons.
