IN THIS VIDEO I DETAIL ALL THE WAYS MY ENTIRE COACH COLLECTION WAS DAMAGED AND COMPLETELY CRUSHED DURING OUR MOVE ACROSS THE COUNTRY AND HOW I FIXED THE ISSUES.
THANKFULLY COACH HAS GREAT QUALITY SO NONE OF THE BAGS WERE DAMAGED BEYOND REPAIR.
MY QUILTED TABBY 20’S WERE EXTREMELY FLAT AND I HAD NO IDEA IF I COULD FIX IT OR NOT BUT THEY ARE STILL HERE SURVIVING!
THE COACH JULIET BAG CORNERS WERE BENT BUT COULD BE MASSAGED OUT EFFORTLESSLY!

Oh no! For them to be smushed the damage doesn't really appear too bad at all. Coach quality for you! I used a clear Christmas tree bin to store my bags but space wasn't a consideration for me as I was moving alone. Glad everything is salvageable!
Moving with a handbag collection can cause a lot of anxiety 😬 I’m glad you were able to get most of the dents out and that your bags survived their journey! 🙏🏽😎

Oh my god Dori I would have been so stressed! You are brave haha! But the bags honestly look so good considering how you described them being smashed! You did an awesome job reshaping them and that makes me feel relieved to know they took their shape back so well 😅

@@milliegalier as much as I tried to minimize it during the journey when I saw everything my heart definitely sank to my stomach lol I knew I loved the bags but I didn’t know just how much until they were pancakes 🤣
I’m glad you were able to get most of the bags back into shape. That green Coach Cary bag is so lovely 💚💚. I can’t find that color anywhere.

So happy your bags survived the move! And more importantly that you and the family did 😊 This might sound extra nerdy (I went to school for this kind of thing) but I’m wondering if the elevation shift or atmospheric pressure during your journey impacted your bags, in addition to them being stacked together. Additionally, this kind of leather is very soft so any kind of impact can show for awhile. The fact that the bag was placed on top of other things makes me think that the factors mentioned came into place. I think them being quilted offers some durability in these bags. Honestly the bags look good still! 😊❤

@@mjthegray bring the nerd out more often ! I love it ! you may be right and in addition, the duffles were secured by 2-3 straps that were tightened around the duffle bag so I know that didn’t help matters lol
Literally when I move my bags are getting their own car ride I don’t give affffff

I’m so glad you were able to repair the damage from your travels. Of course you and your family traveling safely was the priority. But no one wants to see their hard earned money lost either. How do you plan to store your bags now that you’re home. Your new place being a clean slate right now I’m sure you’ve considered where your bags will make themselves at home. 😊

@@NothingButBags they are all sitting at the top shelf of my closet for now I don’t think I’ll have any display cabinet like I first envisioned. I think I like them tucked away 😅
