It’s a shitty feeling brother, onto bigger and better things of course! Keep grinding bro, you’ll never forget this car, but you’ll find something to make you just as happy, trust. Not even gonna lie, cried the first night I sold my first cars, I had two first cars, inherited, 94 F150 4.9 Inline 6, 80k miles, and an 89 Mustang GT 5spd, 90k miles, around 17 I went on vacation, came back to them sold from under me (my mother and I had a very bad relationship at the time) .. yeah I cried dawg 🤣 I still think about those cars, Everytime I see one of them, I think about them. Shit sucks, I’ll never get over it lol one day maybe, I’ll have another mustang.

RIP to Midnight. You were one of the very first KZreadrs that inspired me and helped me when I owned my FG2. Ironically enough I sold my Si for a FK8 Type R and I sometimes really miss the 8th gen so I get how you felt when the car was totaled/gone now. Hopefully you get this next FG2 running soon so it can inspire me again to buy one of my favorite cars I’ve ever owned. It’s been one hell of a journey, looking forward on what’s next to come!

Mine looks just like midnight. I bought it brand new in 08 I was 18, it has 130k on it now and watching this video hurts Gerb, idk if I'll ever let mine go. Thank you Midnight for all the lessons you taught us and thank you Gerb for sharing your time with her with us 😢

Ik how you feel. I owned an 8th gen for like 7 years and had to let it go. Thankfully got a 10th gen Si and I gotta say it feels like I’m in my old 8th gen, but with some new bells and whistles and a turbo slapped on to it. Will never forget, my 1st car since I got outta high school. Miss it to this day 😢

@@TheGerbsteve yeah man! I highly recommend. I was thinking about getting the 11th gen but heard they took out a lot of features from the 10th like adaptive dampers, climate control, heated seats, etc., which would’ve been a downgrade imo.

I would have bought the whole and I’m here in Ct! Not sure if you remember but I bought a clutch off Billy and you was with him! Now I have an 8 gen! So I’ll see you around

so engine blew and you sold it ? was it due to the turbo you had on it for a while ? I almost sold my fg2 after i had a defective vtec spool valve assembly sold my egb18 😭 God Bless You All 🙏🏽

I have two 8 gens and 2 rsx .. they all aint going nowhere lol my daily driver is a 95 eg on coilovers and wheels..

I sold my 8th gen to carmax that it was in mint condition paint was perfect only problem was the fan ran long and killed the battery but I had a new vehicle already purchased. I will always regret getting rid of my 8th gen I will never find another in great body and paint condition for what I paid only $3,000 for it.

Dont feel lonely after six years last year I sold my si the red dawn till today I still cry for it.

I know, I knew I could get $400+ for all seats, cluster, etc… I lost motivation though and just wanted it out of here. Regardless, I got paid out for what the car was worth, stripped off $$ in parts, and towing company paid me a check…

Body was beat, rust, electrical eps issue. ins. Paid me out for a claim I submitted for water damage. Had the option to keep it, get it back up and running, but car is not road legal until proper inspection was performed. Really don’t think it would’ve passed anyways.

Not too long after I hydrolocked it on a dead end road, about 10k miles later I believe the oil pump let go and caused the catastrophic engine failure.

You need a sedan

Imagine if the check is fake…best to meet at the bank and have them authenticate it. I bet you got at least 15 grand? Nice!!
