My City vs My Island | Review and Comparison

I compare and review My City and My Island, which are two Reiner Knizia games published by Kosmos. There is a section with what some may consider to be spoilers. While I still try to keep things vague, I have timestamped this section and I give a verbal warning at that point in the video for those who want to avoid even a hint of a spoiler to be able to skip to the next section.
I forgot to give my thoughts on replayability, so I figured I'd throw in a write-up here on replayability. My wife and I got 48 plays out of My City (playing through the campaign twice at the 2-player count) and plan to do the same with My Island. You can do this if playing 2-player games, but at higher player counts you will only get 24 plays out of the Legacy campaign as the boards are altered and there will not be enough stickers to play again either. There is also an eternal side of the player boards which offers a permanent way to play the games. We have not yet felt like trying out the Eternal Game as it does not hold the same appeal to us as the evolving legacy game. 24-48 games are already a pretty decent amount of replayability for a game of this price, and some may enjoy playing this game later as the eternal game, but I don't see that mode as being as engaging and lasting forever as there will not be a huge amount of variability in that mode outside of card draws being different and changing up the order of polyomino tiles coming out.
