Thank you. Lots of great memories from the 2022 season. There are only a few days left before the start of my new village but I believe this setup will remain unparalleled. I'll try anyway.

@@silvioallena I just finished mine today and feel also that the last areas are not that good. I am waiting over a month for two packages to arrive with buildings etc for it - i gave up waiting today and just completed it. I think when it means so much to us we are never happy.

This is the best I have ever seen! The detail. The editing. The music. Just SUPERB!

Thank you Yvonne. I am sure that I willnever use again that Time Machine on any other Christmas Village but now it's safely on a shelf after a week spent on 3D modeling it. Always ready to remind me of a fantastic book from H.G. Wells and an equally fantastic film, the one from 1960 with Rod Taylor, of course.

Wow Silvio, you really out did yourself this year! It's looks amazing! I wasn't sure about the concept in the beginning, but the way you implemented it totally fits with christmas and Lemax products. Hi Bram, thanks for your sincerity, even I was a little terrified of where my madness was taking me. But one must always indulge his proper madness. Absolutely YES, Christmas Villages from the World 2022 edition is coming. I will post a quick video during the next week. I should have done it sooner but I was totally focused on trying to finish my village in time. Sorry.

@@silvioallena Thank you Silvio. All I can say is that patience is a virtue, and if you love villaging you've got plenty of it. It's taken me 30 years and a new house to finally make the Main Street I've always pictured. Looking forward to seeing your display as it grows over the years.

Ti ringrazio per l'apprezzamento e per avermi insignito del titolo di "Portatore di Ispirazione". Sicuramente il Villaggio del 2022 è stato superiore a quello dello scorso anno. Ahimé è difficile mantenere lo stesso standard anno dopo anno. Sarei molto contento se riuscissi almeno ad avvicinarmi al risultato del 2022 con quello di quest'anno.

L’ho visto solo oggi. Complimenti villaggio ben realizzato, con maestria e precisione e pieno di idee originali 👏Bravissimo

A disgruntled fool you are not. I am always thinking I could have done better no matter what I do, wether it be work, my villages, quilting, etc. That's how we grow. There is always room for improvement. Besides, it adds challenges. I have learned a lot from your videos. I'm already planning next year's village and I would like permission to try and replicate your scriptorium. As for missing you on Mondays? I guess I will have to watch your videos all over again until you start fresh. Lol. I'd really like to keep in touch throughout the year. Hi Lesley, thank you. Unfortunately it's not attention to detail but an obsession that brings me closer and closer to pure madness. 😁😁😁😁😁 Hope comes to you every time you start a new village. Not from time. My family has been doing villages since the late nineties. My mother was the Christmas Village Artist and I tried to assimilate all the techniques that she could teach me. But she was too traditionalist for my opinion. So since 2016 I have decided to go my own way and unleash my craziness.

Thank you very much. I am a simple and humble chemical engineer. The layout is 350 x 210 cm (11.5 x 6.9 feet). I generally start the project around the first week of July to end it by the end of November but I was sooo late this season. Too many hand-crafted buildings I suppose or I am simply starting to get too old!!! Have a fantastic 2023.

Ho guardato spesso i tuoi favolosi tutorial e ora il tuo villaggio e' una bellissima sorpresa pur avendoli visti. Complimenti per il tuo lavoro immenso hai fatto qualcosa di unico e inimitabile. Ciao Paola non posso che ringraziarti per queste tue parole ti stima. Confesso che le apprezzo più di tutte le altre messe assieme perché vengono da chi vive come me in un paese in cui la gente vede delle case in miniatura e dei personaggi su di un ripiano e commenta "come prosegue il tuo strano presepe?" o "caruccio il tuo presepe ma dov'è la mangiatoia?". Quindi ribadisco grazie, grazie e poi ancora grazie. Sì, precisamente, è una stanza di 20 metri quadri tutta dedicata al villaggio ed a progettarlo fuori stagione. E gli armadi sullo sfondo contengono buona parte di quello che uso e della collezione ma non tutto perché ovviamente non hanno più spazio libero. Infiniti auguri di Buon Natale e sereno 2023. Dimenticavo la cosa più importante.... GRAZIE

Ciao Paola, Non posso che essere onorato dalla tua decisione di continuare a seguire le mie pazzie presenti e future. Confesso che qualche nuova stravaganza per la prossima stagione ha già iniziato ad insinuarsi qui e là. Nel frattempo sto ultimando le fasi preliminari di un tutorial forse un tantino troppo tecnico ma che permetterà il miglioramento delle riprese finali dei villaggi a chi generalmente li filma. Sono un semplice ed umile ingegnere chimico ma ho avuto la fortuna di avere dei genitori il cui credo era "devi sapere fare di tutto nella vita" quindi hanno voluto che mi cimentassi un pò in ogni settore: dall'idraulica alla falegnameria, alla cucina al cucito, all'elettronica ... e mi fermo qui. Non ho mai smesso di ringraziarli per questo dono quando ancora potevo farlo e non smetterò mai di farlo ora che non ci sono più. My best wishes to you and all your loved ones.

Buonasera, ringrazio sentitamente per i complimenti e per la sincerità. Capisco perfettamente che non possa piacere a tutti un villaggio natalizio vittoriano con tema steampunk e 4 sezioni dedicate a scittori vittoriani. Purtroppo di personaggi Marvel non ve ne è nemmeno uno. Ci sono 9 Statue in bronzo ed escludendo Poseidone di fronte al porto gli altri sono: Sweeny Todd, Sherlock Holmes, Dottor Jekyll e Mr Hyde, Alice nel paese delle Meraviglie, La Regina di Cuori, Oliver Twist, Jack lo squartatore e Mary Poppins tutti in chiave Steampunk e tutti personaggi letterari dell'epoca Vittoriana o ambientati in epoca Vittoriana. Le quattro sezioni sono dedicate a 20.000 Leghe sotto i mari di Jules Verne, Frankenstein di Mary Shelley, La macchina del tempo di H.G. Wells ed infine Viaggio al centro della Terra (con i suoi dinosauri) nuovamente di Jules Verne. Ancora tutti libri di scrittori fervidi in epoca Vittoriana. Sfortunatamente la "giostra del circo" non è di nessuna marca in quanto è una struttura che ho costruito interamente da me. Disegnando i componenti della cupola per poi stamparli in 3D. La base rotante l'ho tagliata da pannelli di polistirolo estruso spesso 9 mm e sotto la base vi è un motore a corrente continua per forni a microonde con tempo di rotazione di 6 giri al minuto e tutti i personaggi sono disegnati e stampati da me. Forse ho scordato qualche elemento ma durante la stagione ho postato i tutorial su come ho costruito il tutto. Grazie ancora e auguri di buon Natale e sereno 2023

I always build all the stairs myself. I did the big central one using Styrofoam. I 3D modeled the blue ones than 3D printed them.

Ciao, i piloni che reggono la struttura sono in legno, la superficie sotto le rotaie è invece polistirolo estruso da 9 mm di spessore inciso a mano. Ci sono due video di tutorial che ho postato lo scorso luglio su come ho costruito il tutto.

Jacked up video- would have been nice if you didn’t add that interruption with what looks like shutter closure then opening plus the music could have been left out- otherwise you have an awesome display

Thank you for sharing your point of view. However, I will always stick to the transitions between one take and another because I don't like sudden cuts.
