Fun fact: They could only do the scene where Mikey dies twice because it affected Gerard really badly, you can see in the scene where Mikey dies that he keeps screaming "MIKEY MIKEY MIKEY" and then he starts sobbing... That scene gave him a breakdown.

Gerard took this way more seriously even from the start... Just the concept of them running into war, some of them(like Mikey) never coming home to their families again... You can tell that they put a lot more thought into it... In my opinion it was never a "joke" No hate just saying.

i can't put this in words but gerard sings with such emotion it's unreal, he lives in the moment and his expressions make it so much better. anytime i hear this song i get so emotional because i know a lot of work was put into this and emotion and power and just to imagine mikey dying was a lot for gerard. i love him so much. you can see the pain and sadness in his face while he was screaming mikeys name and it makes you feel like you can actually hear him. when he was processing his death, you can see the shock and anger in his face, it's insane.

As being one of the more emotionally intensive videos in terms of the individual performances, seeing Gerard's face when he sees Mikey and begins to sob impresses me. I could totally see Gerard as an actor, he always gives it his all in these more cinematic music videos.
