I’m 55, they saved me. The first time I heard them coming from daughters bedroom around mid 2000’s, Cemetery Drive, I knew I found my new favorite band. They defined a period in my life when I lost everything, my career, my home, my marriage, one of my daughters but through their music and my biking and running I carried on. I am here because of them. Angst isn’t reserved for teenagers.

Agreed, Angst is for us all. I dove deep into the Black Parade after the passing of my first wife. Found the courage, as it were, to sober up, and, well, Carry On... I fully credit MCR and Concrete Blonde for giving me a reason to live.

Wow, I actually can’t believe they pushed Ray onto bass and gave Mikey a tambourine :( he looks so upset playing it. Surely ray could’ve played a little lead line or something on guitar, or could’ve been the one playing tambourine and singing backup. This is what happens when bands like this go on SNL and their shape gets re defined

Also upon a quick Google search it's not only well documented that they're live performance audio is terrible and has nothing to do with the bands. But also apparently in the past Lorne Michael's has gone on record saying its a matter of budget. He been asked in the past why he didn't change the audio setup. They choose not to invest in better audio setups because it's easier to buy standardized equipment that they don't have to adjust for bands that's built more around the sketch comedy.
