Haven’t watched your three cheers vid yet so you might have found this info already but here are a few fun facts: -the band was formed because Gerard (the lead singer) witnessed the twin towers fall as he was on his way there for a meeting with Cartoon Network. Experiencing this was what triggered him to leave the animation industry and start the band. -Skylines and Turnstiles is about the 9/11 experience -Bullets came out in 2002 though it does have a few slightly older songs from ‘the attic demos’ -the best day ever was written the day they recorded it -Gerard had a really bad infection/abscess in his tooth so he was in EXCRUCIATING pain for pretty much the whole recording of the album -their rhythm guitarist joined them half way through the recording of the album
