Wow! So his so call friend cheated with his wife and he didn’t send him to the hospital! No wonder the guy thought it wouldn’t be a big deal! The husband is a complete loser just on the fact that either is wife or friend had any respect for him because they see him as a door mat!

She actually did say the real reason, she probably just doesn't realize it, it was the excitement, chasing the butterflies of a new relationship.
Story #1 - it appears that Kate was waiting and looking for an opportunity to cheat on her husband. Having sex outside the marriage just once out of somr misguided reason for some supposed revenge is too many times and way wrong. However she did it repeatedly while treating her innocent husband badly. All she had needed to disrespect her husband with his fake friend was an excuse, no matter how questionable nor who the excuse came from. She actually turned herself into a 304 because she wanted an excuse to engage in sex and a relationship outside of her marriage. True the fake friend was culpable, but he wasn't the one that was married. While he certainly broke the friendship code, He had no marriage vow to live up to, the wife did. Husband may want to be glad that he got away from her before she tried settling him on fire😅😂😁😁

Second story. The OP was fortunate, he had ammunition to use against his wife`s AP as he was married and her co-worker. But not all of us are so lucky. My first first wife dumped me for a lover. He was single and not her co-worker so I had no ammunition to use against him and I was skinned alive by my wife and the divorce court system.

In this story, often when a woman is caught, and her infidelity exposed, she often goes into defense mode. Her first instinct is to protect her self-esteem and self-image. So she will try to deny, deflect, or defy the validity of the accusations. But when confronted with undeniable, visual proof, she recoils into adolescent child mode ... tears, crying, begging for forgiveness and understanding. At no time does she show any thoughts, or make any attempt to accept responsibility for her decisions and actions. Accountability is NOT in a woman's dictionary. Instead she offers to will beg for forgiveness, will negotiate for a way to make amends, offer conciliatory deals by offering unlimited sexual access and free passes to her husband to engage other women. Why? It's the Fear of Rejection and Being Alone is what women dread most of all. In this story, the wife was in a secure relationship with a strong supportive husband and devoted father. They want that life of luxury; but don't think about what they are risking in their attempt to have the fantasy. They believe their life will be better. Now begins their downward spiral of shame, embarrass ment, self-loathing, and guilt. They can't stand to look at their own face in the mirror; knowing what they did to their life, and threw away the love and respect of someone who cherished them. And all that person asked in return was love, respect, and fidelity. And she couldn't do those 3 simple things.
