I genuinely don't understand how people like that are made. Do they think they're some sort of protagonists that can never be in the wrong? Or in a porn video where the partner won't get mad at them for cheating on them. I just don't understand how people can be this distant from reality. I hope no one i know grows up to be like these people

@@Konomidebanshouwashikisesur thank God you'll never meet one, bc their delusions can make them obsessive and unstable. Especially when they're a relative..... they demand your time, your partner/spouse's time, your children, etc., bc "we're family". Personally, I thank God for this, dealt with some relatives who have serious Narcissistic Personality Disorder and try to destroy my life bc they can't control me then blame me that we're not close or that I'm "bitter" and "immature" for not giving them, a predator, access to my life, my partner's life, my kid's life. I went little to no contact, no one has time for that level of madness. On top of that, they get worse with time.

As an ex addict of strong opioids and as a married woman, I'm so happy I had/have enough awareness to see the destruction I can cause around me if not careful. I was addicted towards the start of my marriage, but after 2 years of heavy use, it's like a ton of bricks hit me all at once in the face. I could see the distance I was building between my husband and I as well as my closest friends and I. I could see the damage I was doing to myself and my life. I spiraled a bit from there into some pretty deep depression, but still decided a few months later to get help immediately. I would sooner die than lose my husband. It's RARE you are ever able to find that person who fits in your life like a glove, someone who brings out the best qualities in you, makes you laugh and smile year after year, and always brings joy to each day, and that is my husband. Hell, we've never even been so mad as to yell at each other. I wasn't about to fucking give that up. As my favorite quote ever goes: you want my husband, you're gonna have to fucking kill me. I got clean of drugs, still go to therapy, was treated for severe depression, and 8 years later I'm still happily married to the love of my life and pregnant with our second daughter, the other 2 loves of my life. I did hit a rough patch 3 years ago in December 2020 when my best friend of 10 years took his life and I nearly relapsed after another spiral, but ended up composing a song as venting method, stuck to everything despite the hurt and pain, and came out the otherside with my husband standing right there the whole time, helping me work through it (they weren't as close, but he was also still very affected as well, so I know it wasn't easy to pull me from the brink). I'd die for my husband and my family. To throw your family away, your children away, your friends away all for sparkling trash and shit is absolutely disgusting, weak, cowardly, and shameful. Even after experiencing addiction myself, I still think anyone willing to do the things this woman did are fucking disgraceful and deserve every last bit of misery, backlash, and consequence coming at them. I've also had a mother use false allegations to attempt to win a divorce and it is absolutely DISGUSTING to use such abhorrent claims against an innocent person. That woman was lucky her kids aren't like me because once I found out she falsely claimed my dad was abusive to her and us, I slapped her so hard that it bruised for 3 days. I don't tolerate false claims or domestic violence against either men or women, so I don't mind being the one to slap a bitch as a woman myself since I'm more able to get away with it. Honestly, good riddance. She was a horrible wife, a horrible neglectful mother, and a sad excuse for a woman and I spit on her grave.

I had an almost-GF in my late 20's that toted herself a feminist, things were nice for about a month but after a while it started to become apparent who she really was underneath. Constantly reminding me of my 'privilege', using tragedies certain women have endured as crimes from me and my entire gender, the never-ending 'just because you're a man' statements, etc. The day I tried to turn it around and talk about some of the horrors men have gone through from women was the angriest I've ever seen a human being.

Do you think your society/court system is more geared towards favouring women in general or only where you are from? I don’t mean to be offensive or anything so you don’t have to answer if you don’t want to.

They encouraged her to finally show everyone her true character and what sort of abysmal creature she actually is, behind her mask of a loving and caring wife and mother. While it is obviously sad because of the unimaginable pain that OP surely had to go through, I think this is actually a pretty nice story, with all his friends and family pitching in so much to help and support him. Very heartwarming. I hope he will eventually manage to heal and move on from this horrible situation.

Nah, anyone who thinks it’s ridiculous he still loves her has only had shallow relationships. This is the person he was thrilled to spend the rest of his life with, and she was too. This is the person who shared his pain on the bad days at work, and shared the joy when something good happened. This is the person that gave birth to his two favorite people in the world. Love is not just romance. Love is not just sex. Love is giving of yourself willingly to support your other half, to share their pains and joys. To watch her self-destruct would be absolutely brutal. This is your best friend hurting themself, and anyone you truly love you would feel so bad seeing how low they’ve become. It’s true, she was the one who chose to spend time with these coworkers, but from the outside looking in you can see as they’re being fooled and lied to and you want to help that person. Even knowing he never wanted to get back together, that doesn’t mean you can’t still love someone and wish they’d take steps to turn their life around and stop hurting themselves. This is the kind of love that keeps people together for life. But both individuals need to have it.

I was hesitant at the start when OP said the work friends were hardcore SJW feminists. My initial thought was “damn, is this just gonna be dunking on feminism or something?” Then as the story continued, I thought “wait, these women are deliberately screwing themselves over? This isn’t real feminism.” Once it got to the “my body my choice” is just a mask to save their egos I realized this is just an incredible tragedy. The wife was lured with feelings of female empowerment and was dragged down into the hell that is meth addiction. It probably started as just the wife wanting new friends that were liberal and progressive (not a bad thing), but didn’t see the hole she was digging until it was too late to get out. As awful as her actions were, and as unforgivable her final act was right as she was recovering and her children were coming to grips with it all, she was still a victim of the scum that poisoned her. My heart breaks for OP. He and his children deserved a better end to the story.

He lost his wife the moment she had hardcore feminist "friends". Literally, it's the single bitter women that like to ruin things for others. Then show no remorse as if they did a world saving accomplishment.

A true strong woman doesn't depend on manipulation and evil trickery for the sake of selfish destructive vices and schemes. A true strong woman is firm on her beliefs, loyalty, honesty and comprehensive towards the possibility for improvement with moderation. A strong woman doesn't blame her surroundings when she feels "limited" to do something. Either man or woman, this really applies to anyone, strength alone isn't just physical or psychological, the aspects of having resilience towards a proper stance id truest form of mortal strength, simply having honest work and mind. This man gave her all the breathing space to do whatever she wanted, she knew that what she was doing was bullshit the entire time and kept at it for a fake sense of selfish bliss, that is not strength. It's truly rare to find a strong man or woman with proper morals that have both be equals and understanding partners. This story was... tragic

Still having to pay some money in the divorce is wild. I hate that he still had to give her 45k.

I don't think he ever got the chance to even pay her. She was in rehab and died pretty quickly. Outside of the 15k that they used for her bail and his insurance money I bet he never paid the rest.

If my current relationship fails I am done completely. Both men and women are petty and selfish and no one can be trusted.

Feminism rots the mind. My condolences to OP and his family and especially his children since their mother doesn’t care about them anymore and probably never did.
