My Cat Caught a Mouse and Brought it in the House 🐁

Mallory came inside the house meowing and calling. Silly human thought Mallory was calling to hear where her human was, since the house was quiet. Turned out she had brought a gift, in the form of a mouse. She was so proud of herself that when she looked up to brag to her human, the tired mouse scurried behind the door.
Let's just say, the gift was not well received (return to sender please :) Seemed like she had been playing with it for a bit. Thankfully, it was weak, so their human was able to sweep it up onto a long handle dustpan ( it had to be a long handle 😑) and release it outside. There it stayed until morning. #adventurecat #catbehavior #mallorythecat #bellathekitten

I've had this happen 2 times over this past winter. My timid indoor cat got outside and caught her first mouse and brought it inside. My outside cat brings me dead birds and mice. They're so proud. ❤❤

We have like 3 Cats and our black cat is a mice hunter there are times when he will bring it inside the house and play it like a soccer ball and the remaining two cats be trying to steal the mice from our black cat its very funny and scary at same time 😂

The joys of having cats..that aint one of them...I have stories about that. Bur you will not like them. Our cat at that time, Mink, was my best buddy, so he left me a choice in front of my door for Breakfast: Rodent, Reptile or a fowl, sometimes all of the above ;-) Oh well, Mink was a mighty hunter!

Mink making sure you were well fed...how kind of him 🤣 Bella likes to bring her catch inside so she can control them 😆 Outside they escape too easily. She brought in a baby bunny a few weeks back. Mallory usually keeps them outside and calls me to go look. I guess she noticed Bella getting a lot of attention (more hysteria lol) when she brings her catch inside so she did it too.

@@mallorycatgallery Mink was a braggart, too. One night a fox had killed a fawn, and Mink was able to scare him away, obviously, and he came in and wanted us to come out-and led us to the compost pile where the little one was lying. He was good-but that one nobody believed ;-)

@RealMash I believe. Mallory and I were outside in the front yard one night and I saw her charge at something, I turned around to see a fox running into the road. Next time we saw a fox she was keeping her distance. I think maybe she was protecting me that night, because that fox got pretty close without making a sound

One human, and two cats, out of sorts over a baby mouse 🐁. She's lucky, mine brought me a live RAT, and dropped it off at my feet on the steps of our RV, and then it ran underneath. Of course, I was pretty sure I knew where it was going to go next. RVs are notoriously NOT rodent proof. But since it was a field rodent, hopefully, it went back home, instead of moving into mine. It was probably pregnant, it seems like they all are.
