Same! I love her voice so much. When I was younger, I used to rewatch some of her videos (that did not have her screaming "baby zombie why?!" lol) to help me sleep.

In like June when I saw the video called 'Thank you and Good Bye' from Stacy and I almost had a heartattack. When I watched it I was sad but calmer. Now to hear her makes me happy.

I think it’s alright to have these complaints or whatever you’d like to call them. You’re spending your hard earned money on this cabin and want to live here and keep it for a long time, you should make sure it makes you happy.

I don't often time it right to watch your streams, so I'm really enjoying these more personal videos. I've watched you for years - I vaguely remember the last time you tried vlogmas - and I feel like I'm getting a better sense of who stacy is as a person instead of just an internet personality who has to be "on" for their job.

That is one of the hardest jobs someone can do and the fact that you did it for two important figures in your life speaks volume on your character. I literally remember a vlog when you showed the little cubby under the stairs for Milquetoast and I thought it was so cute and I also remember LOVING all your books and bookshelves!! I remember so many parts of this cabin being built! I also loved those stick things under the stair railings

As a grown home owning adult, this video was actually pretty interesting. Especially since I remember when you first bought the cabin and went through the initial construction part of the home.

I dont see these as whines, I see them as you passing on what you learned so other people can be in the know!

Commenting a bit late... but I know what you mean Stacy! I live in a magnificent home that I am so lucky to be in. Old Victorian house built in 1870s. 3 story, 5 bedroom, 5 bathrooms, a guest house, garage, and a bell tower... on 7 acres about. It’s beautiful, it’s amazing, I am so grateful. I even love the location, the town, how close my family is to each other, how close work is.... yet at the same time, location is one of issues at the same time. I live in the high desert at the base of the mountains. So I don’t get a lot of greenery... I wish I could magically grow a forest of tall evergreens all around my house. Yeah, I could plant some, and have, and will plant more... but, I’m picturing and wishing I had the property this place will turn into for future generations. Still amazingly grateful to have what I have, and I’m not complaining at all. I just understand the wish for more evergreens lol

For the crack in the concrete counter maybe instead of trying to conseal it you can use the art of Kintsugi and fill it in with gold?

For the kitchen shelves, wood with a live edge would look amazing.

Deffs not complaining or whining, everything makes complete and valid sense. They’re just home improvement critiques, lessons learned, and can come in handy if anyone has similar issues. Definitely wouldn’t have caught on myself until later, and now I’ll keep those things in my for my own place

Aww Stacy, I'm sure you looked after Page and your grandmother the best you could. Their time was up and that's something we can't prevent. My grandfather passed away a few weeks ago and I still get sad whenever I think about him. These things happen, as sad as they can be ;(

loosing a pet is one of the worst things to happen and the way you described pages nosebleed reminded me of my cat who sadly left us early this year do to a blood clot in his heart And just whenever I see the stain on the carpet I remember him

Stacy I honestly love these type a videos. It’s quite therapeutic to listen to! Also, love hearing about the cabin. Its a nice to hear your vlogs, brings back memories.

It's normal to have regrets! It is *your* money! But I just have to say I love how when you started to talk about Page (miss you Page love you) it was like Molly almost knew something was up so she came to comfort you!

Can't wait to see the changes you make.

oh the stairs, here's a trick I used, I bought a box of bird gravel, fine white sand really, and embedded it in the varnish on top of each tread. Looks gritty, catches a bit of dirt, but scrubs easily and you get the wood look.

I honestly liked listening/watching this video! Since I’ve been here a while and I’ve seen the video when you first got the cabin, it was nice to seem the outcome of some of the things that you added to your cabin.

I actually thought this was really interesting! I would never live in a cabin personally (I'm a little paranoid about the woods), but I think I understand wanting to bring back the natural, homey feel. My family isn't big on design or decorations, so it's nice to see how other people decorate and design their homes. One day when we're able to make permanent changes, I kind of want to paint my walls a sea green :)

Hey Stacy, you might've already thought of this, but you could always add a long runner carpet on your stairs to help with the slippery problem. I did that in my old house & it helped a lot!
