thats such good training how do you get him to understand how you ask him if he wants a treat and he nods my budgies are stubborn but they trust me so how do i teach them to do tricks can you please do a video on how to teach them how to do tricks? Elvis is so cute and talented Good job on teaching him how to do tricks!

Thank you for watching. I covered this a little in the video. I used the capture training method. With that you watch your bird while they play or hang out, and then when they do the action you are trying to capture, you click the clicker and give them a treat each time they do it. With the head bobbing action, that is usually a male budgie activity that they do while playing. Once they realize that all they have to do to get a treat is to bob their head, then you add whatever queue you want to use to get them to do it, in Elvis's case, I nod my head yes. if you have a female she may not bob her head at all. I hope this helps!
