Personally, to me, your brother's > yours... But that's a relative thing and here's the main reason why: I dig his more because of the overall variety. You said he collects "mostly high end" stuff when in reality, he's got stuff all across the board. Yeah they're high-end cards individually speaking, in and of themselves. But as far as the products they come from, I would hardly use the word 'high-end' to describe them. If you're unhappy with where YOUR collection and where it's currently at, clearly there's something that needs to change or that you need to start doing that you're currently not. Here are two things specifically that I've noticed and what you can do to change things up: Obviously, you know what you like -- namely the Future Watch RC autos -- and that's cool; it's always good to know what you like. But the thing is, when you end up focusing SOLELY on those and not really venturing out beyond those, you're gonna eventually feel like you could have and be doing more. Buying singles is okay and can be a good thing when you know EXACTLY what you want; you know exactly what you're getting, but there's not the same risk as when you buy packs/boxes. However, even buying cards as singles has its limits as there's gonna come a point when what you're looking for is just too expensive in order to acquire it. I mean, from the sound of it, you paid a hell of a lot of money to acquire some of the best FW rookie autos you currently have -- I can't say that I'd EVER shell out that much for a single card. Honestly, I really think you ought to open more boxes. Yes there's a risk and luck aspect to this that there isn't when buy singles, but there's also far more fun and excitement than there is compared to buying singles as well; the two simply don't compare in that respect. I'm sure you have your go-to store. But when you buy a box and hit big, chances are you've nailed a case or inner case hit that that box came that came from your store so your chances of getting anything else equal or better is slim to none. So venture out to some of the bigger online stores that there are. Not only will overall selection be, most likely, much better, but there's a good chance prices will as well. I'd recommend Dave & Adam's Card World, Cloutsnchara, and Steel City Collectibles -- chances are you'll like what you find. And lastly, if you REALLY wanna help your collections variety, delve into the world of group breaks. My recommendation would be to go through Cloutsnchara's group break system. They do them EVERY SINGLE DAY and change things up from one night to the next, and the overall variety of things break is unreal. One night there'll be a break for a 6 tin case of 16-17 UD Premier, a 10 (or 8?) box case of Trilogy, and then another for 17-18 SP Game Used... And then next night they'll be opening a 16-17 5 box case of UD Black, a 17-18 10 box case of Black Diamond, and then an 8 box case of OPC Platinum. And on Sundays, they always do a 'Monster Break' where they select a lineup for the break that ultimately includes a little bit of everything, and I DO mean EVERYTHING. Plus, they give away TONS of free boxes if the breaks fill up before the start time. Today's is actually a 'high end Monster' and I think you'd be floor by all the boxes included in it -- it's truly insane. And then there's a number of ways they do it: It can be team select where members of the forum (they're forum posts that you respond to by posting) post which teams they'd like to take where each team costs a certain price. Then for the breaking of all the boxes, you get all the cards for the teams you picked and paid for. Obviously it pays to know what teams are more abundant in certain products than others. Then there's 'Team Random' where each spot is a fixed price, you just say how many spots you want, then its randomized and youre assigned a team for each spot you paid for. Those are the two main versions. Here's a link to it for instance. HIGHLY recommend at least checking it out and maybe watching the breaks - which you can also find on KZread since they end up putting them all up anyway. Real enjoyable channel man !! Nice to see the variety of content (retail boxes, high-end boxes, random packs, pickups, top cards) great knowledge of the sport hockey an players ! Therefore when you talk about facts, certain points, stats and games. Ultimately making people like myself learn a few new things about players, teams and of course .... the hobby of hockey card collecting . Last thing, myself personally and a few others I know would like to suggest the idea of breaking some earlier mid to high end products such as the follow: - 13/14 National Treasures - Panini Playbook - Panini Dominion - Donruus - Pinnacle be player (seeing how you like autos you'll get 16 hard signed autos. I believe its 1997/98 wave 2 that has Gordie Howe, Brett Hull an along with other huge HOF players auto. - Zenith - 13/14 Panini Contenders - 13-14 Panini Prism - 13-14 The Cup (As you can tell I love Panini products lol especially their 6 an 8 way autos !! Don't like their sticker autos on high end shit thou) - would also be sick to see some OPC Platinum from the last 3 years - Black diamond box from one of the last 5 years. 14-15 Black diamond is priced well also. - Gamble on some affordable Contours - Champs - 13-14 Panini Select - 14-15 Premier ( a nice Draisaitl RPA would look sick next to your ice signature of him Lol) If you dont mind it would be awesome if you could share your thoughts on the idea of breaking some of the boxes from the list above ! You could even share the ide briefly on your next video! (Not trying to plug your users with my request to have you reply to my idea on your next video btw lol) Thanks !!

Zeeree-- My love of hockey cards spread to anything that's in a pack ,but i have never sold one single card! thousands of rc's from baseketball to even golf! My personal fav's is a Bobby Orr rc and tiger woods rc....do you collect cards in other sports?
