Having “Does that answer your question?” as an inbuilt rip cord is so nice.
just realized how insane it must be to just walk in and listen to these guys talk about all their different projects. like polygon, mbmbam, taz - they have created SO much content.
This is the very first time I've seen Griffin look even remotely close to his age as an adult

His side profile weirdly reminds me of John Green
if justin were there he and i would’ve engaged in a psychic battle of social anxiety and one of us would’ve been destroyed
Not familiar with their content but they seem like cool people! I'll have to check them out!

Do yourself a favor - Just listen to their podcast from episode 1 (My Brother, My Brother, and Me), laugh your ass off, and stay away from their fandom like it's the absolute plague, and you'll have a source of laughter for the rest of your life.
i asked the question about til death do us blart! i also had a photo op with them the next day and we talked about the show some more, they were so lovely about my costume too, def my favorite celeb interaction at a con (also we were definitely louder than it seems in this video, i promise!!)
MBMBAM should have won best podcast awards by now. They are constantly being overshadowed by celebrities that found their way into podcasting. If you don’t know who these guys are, listen to them and you will find that they are genuinely good people doing what they love with the ones they love. Support them!! ❤❤❤❤

Indeed! I don't expect anyone to necessarily agree with me, but I feel very strongly that celebrities should get out of the podcasting play space. To me, podcasts seem like something that people with little to no resources or platform can do, unlike film making or having a tv show or what have you. get outta here, celebrities! is what i would say to them.

@@BatmanuelTheCactus I SO agree with this. Listening to podcasts for the last 12ish years and seeing the landscape slowly pivot more and more to already-famous/connected people just feels so...off?

As long as it's not Candle Nights
Every time I hear about the TAZ TV show I get excited that it might actually happen.
"I will sit on that. I will think on that. I will pray on that." Is how I will respond to any question I'm not sure about the answer for.
The McElroy Family has changed my life, and Amiibo Corner was life-affirming media for me.
Im only three minutes in and i already feel so happy with how travis was explaining the process so nicely, offering people to say their pronouns, and basically asking consent from the audience??? Griffin said theyre the twin kings of the room and i would happily serve these kings
Griffin telling people to use the microphones like an ice cream cone is just the best. As a producer for some very large, very corporate live events- it’s pretty much the same way I explain it to people, too. 😂
40:10 yooooo, Louie Zong and geothebio getting a shoutout!

I thought that was really nice too. Those people made those YEARS ago, so for griff to rattle off the names so quick was lovely
watching griffin’s reactions to all the questions in real time is so delightful
I want a 7 hour episode
So glad to be able to see this. Thank you! Can never get enough of those good good McElboys!
Love these boys. Thank you for uploading this! Do you have their panel with Felicia Day?

Its funny they still have social anxiety because I just see Twin Kings

Bootlegging is based and praxis i hate theater elitism
@SamDGrover

I watched a certain history rap musical (MC Lincoln) first as a bootleg, then live with a different cast, then the official streamed version and the boot was probably the better experience out of all those
@thebadpoet

The solution is not to allow or support more bootlegging. The solution is to get the bloated out of control Broadway budgets under control, and not set ticket prices at hundreds of dollars. There has also, historically, been major pushback in theater against filming productions because theater, by its nature, is transient and meant to be experienced live. That is elitist, and there’s no reason Broadway shows can’t do what the Met Opera has done for decades now and live stream productions to movie theaters or PBS stations. She Loves Me did a theater live stream pre pandemic and it went great, but was kind of controversial amongst other Broadway productions because it removed the barrier to access (and also was filming theater in general) So the solution is to change the culture, not to ruin your own experience as a theatergoer by being focused on making a terrible bootleg recording off your phone. I’m a theatrical costume designer, and Broadway shows don’t pay designers all that well up front, most of the money is coming from royalties for use of those designs as the show continues to play. Dressers and wardrobe crew are hired on a show by show basis. Depending on the theater other crew are as well. Bootlegs which prevent ticket sales also harm all those people working really hard and not making a lot of money.
feel like most of the audience just walked into this hall and sat down to see who they were?? idk, i guess i'm just used to hearing their face to face show crowd energy, i feel like people are sometimes way too serious and formal at cons haha
