Be nice to get an update on the bmw m5 that went to vrs to have all the issues sorted. Last update was it was running then it went quiet an no more content on it

I've now began to like the pre-facelift m135i better than the facelifted versions just seeing afew of them on Calvins channel here and there.

Standard Procedure (Liked before watching)🤗

Bmw told me my x5 had 2 injectors damaged. To repair it would cost over £2000 pounds but when I took it to a small local garage it was only 1 injector which cost me £80 second hand from ebay and £100 labour. Sometimes dealers try to rip you off. Disgusting

Dont they just. I had a citroen ds3 which was running rough and citroen said the engine needed a rebuild but all it needed was a de coke of carbon and it ran sweet. and VW luckily I got 2 free services but they said I had to pay extra for a brake fluid change but surely it's a serviceable item?.

Wonder whether the high ambient temps ( 26.5 degrees ) had an impact on the speed result times 🤔

BCA would've probably listed it with no issues and a clean assured report.

Fantastic video Calvin 👍 always confused me the difference between the 135 and 140 apart from the slight power difference 🤷🏻‍♂️ think standard 20bhp and 50 torque. But on the second hand market there is about a 4 to 5k difference 🤔

m140 has the b58 engine , just sold mine engine is the party piece of the car handling is average overall id say the golf R is a more complete car after owning both

Main difference is M135i has the N55 engine and the M140i has the B58 engine. This one since is a pre LCI so will have the pneumatic waste gate which holds back power when tuned, the LCI has an electric watergate so sees slightly better power figures when tuned.

Having driven both the 135i and the 140i in stock form, the torque and overall power delivery difference is really noticeable between the two engines.😎👌🏼 the 140i’s B58 has a lot more potential with less money in parts too

Straight pipe is just as it sounds, a straight pipe from the turbo with no resonators, cats, mufflers. Downpipe is the pipe off the back of the turbo before the rest of the exhaust. Decat is when you get rid of the catalytic converters. The best thing you can do is a downpipe as usually these are pretty restrictive

Amazing thing is that all these cars running well over 100bhp or more than a stock golf R or only marginally quicker. Thing is, you never actually launched it either 😜🤦🏾‍♂️👍🏼

Those wheels are horrendous...the guy I use £185 for 4,,, tyres off wheels dipped ,stripped, repaired, powder coated any colour / finish, tyres back on valve and balance,, average 3 day turnaround...

Always loved your videos Calvin but they’re just getting a bit repetitive. Always bmw Audi or vw. Just a personal opinion. Keep up the good work and stay successful ✌🏻👍🏻

wont be 400hp on a 13 plate as its PWG not EWG will be 370hp max

@@RyeFleming20 it has a pneumatic wastegate... They changed over late 2013 to electric, so it physically can't hold more boost so as I said before if it's PWG it won't be 400hp..

Maindealer are a bump, I’m a tyre fitter and I see it shocking reports from maindealer, told a woman needs new tyres at ford, I had. Look we’re on 5mm of tread 😃
