I'm a hardcore introvert but I love going out with my husband and when I need a break from being out he stays in. Introverted means you get exhausted from social interactions but it does not mean you don't like doing things. My husband and I love doing things together. It's about balance and each of us being able to meet our needs. It also sounds like he is trying to "hang out" at one of your places because maybe he wants to make a move. If so that's not fair because as you've stated you want him to date you and he is not willing to do it. It sounds like you both have to sit down and figure out whether you're compatible or not and you can come to an agreement.
