Well yes and yes you are literally correct. The only thing you missed is the signal of the employee being fired is the seasoned value employee letting us know. No I am resigning . As your experience widens you will witness employees resigning as a statement. Common every where I have worked. Glad you caught this so many viewers are literalist and catch the less than ordinary. I really don’t think these comments are petty. It does give the state of our collective mindset. I confident that foreign and domestic bad actors are monitoring closely.

Being fired means you're employer dismissed you, such for a infraction in your job. You are a poor worker. You stole from the company. A resignation is when the employee decides to leave their job on their decision such as their mother is sick and must take care of her. Evidently the person writing this doesn't know the English language at all. Very poor writing.

I don't watch just listen. So cats can't bother me
