A tip for stay adhesive, after you're done using it, hold it upside down in the trash can and spray a little out until the can just sprays the propellant gas. You should also remove the spray nozzle and clean it out with warm water and soap. I hope that helps.... I'm sorry to hear about your friend. I'll be praying and sending good energy her way.

How do you get past the loss of a husband…you do it one second at a time. You remember that even if you don’t understand, all things work together for the greater good. You rely on the truth of that faith statement. You remain truly grateful for ever second you had together. You don’t ask, “why me?” because no one on this plane of existence gets to stay here forever. And sometime in the process you realize that God has a plan and we live in His time, not my time and you learn that the best way to honor your loved one is to continue to live your best life possible until the Lord calls you home. How do I know this? I’ve lived it for more than a decade. I miss him mightily, love and cherish him still and trust that God knows what He’s doing.

Well said. It has been nearly 9 years since I lost my husband. I thought after we had lost our daughter a few years before that the worst had happened. No, it hadn’t. However, my God is faithful and one second at a time I have survived. I have times grief takes me out behind the knees but less often now.

I am so sorry for you both. You sound like strong women of faith. The hard part I think about is not only losing the love of my life, but having to deal with all the issues that happen because of it. God provided so miraculously for us when we cared for my Mother, and I know He will help each of us when that time comes.

Oh so very sorry to hear about philly’s husband. Sending prayers for both of them. Yeah sometimes this aging thing really sucks. I had a bit of a rough weekend. I had been feeling fantastic & then out of nowhere I had hip & thigh pain. I could hardly get around. Well I was keeping it pretty much under control with Tylenol, icy hot,& heating pad. Well then out of nowhere I was just feeling really bad. I was feeling weak all over & just completely drained and no appetite. I have to say I was feeling a bit depressed & down in the dumps. I’m feeling a bit better the extreme fatigue & weakness has gone and I was able to get out for a quick errand yesterday. My hip & thigh are slowly getting better but still just slowly getting back into things. So no this aging sometimes isn’t easy. So when it is kick up your heels & dance!

When my husband was close to dying he knew he was going very soon and was so very peaceful and happy. I was happy for him but not so much for me. Our God is so gracious and patient with us because a couple of weeks afterwards I was hurting and started to get mad. I told God that I was mad at Him and my husband. I told God that I was glad that man was in heaven but he sure didn’t have to be so blasted excited about it! As I said, He knows and understands. Praying for your friends.

If you clean the area with alcohol to prepare the plastic, the vinyl will stick better. Also, when peeling the tape off, it is best if you peel the transfer tape on top of itself - do not lift it or pull it up, but roll it back. Another tip is to burnish the backside of the design as well as the top to get the adhesive to stick to the tape. You are so fun to watch so keep it up!

I never mentioned a body part that was good or bad. nor implied such. Please let me explain, this outfit white shirt/jeans looks so very nice on you. The shorter tops cuts off in a spot that is not ugly or makes you look bad, its the longer top takes advantage of your nice long legs. and enhances them. I have had complaints from my own sister, so please don't feel bad. I stare at that part of me all the time in my videos making sure it is just the seam of the pants. It was NOT you who emailed me about the crotch issue. I got a long nice email from another lady.

No, Cheri, it was not you. I was the one, although I was trying to be helpful, not critical. Joy, I am very sorry I offended you. I would never hurt you intentionally. Please forgive me. I am a bottom line person who always prefers blunt truth from others, but everyone is different, and it is hard for me to know sometimes just how much to say. I’m sorry.

Joy, Did you use your coverstitch to hem your white heart tee? I watched your coverstitch video from years ago to understand what they are used for. Do you think they are a worthwhile investment? I am just getting back into garment sewing. I plan to sew with knits. I do own a serger.

It is fun to use the coverstitch BUT you have to have three spools of matching thread. You can wind bobbins. Depends on what you want your hems to look like. I use it sometimes. Sometimes, I don't. Usually it depends on the threads I have.
