A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US 🤍
Hi! My name is Brooke!! My boyfriend and I, Jason have a 1 year old daughter named Aloura! We became parents at 14 and 15 years old. A few months after my daughter was born I decided to start documenting my life/journey as a young teenage mother! We’ve created so many fun memories that I’ve been able to record along the way! We’re so excited you’ve decided to join us on this journey and can’t thank you guys enough for how much you’ve helped our little family.

Man a great mother like this wow ❤😊😊😊 great job
I think the biggest thing with an unmedicated birth is you have to be able to mentally prepare yourself because obviously it’s painful but it’s such a huge mind game. For example: screaming makes it worse so you have to force yourself to breathe and groan instead and you also have to redirect the pain but when you have no time to prepare your body or mind… I can’t even imagine. I went in knowing I didn’t want an epidural but I was also a high risk for c-section because of how my pelvis/pubic bone is shaped so I was watching all the videos and doing all the exercises. Birth is so beautiful no matter how it happens and you handled it like a champ! Also, for a C-section, you just wear a diaper 🤣 no pain! TMI but I peed immediately. They also didn’t really push on my stomach. Your ob cleans your uterus out so there’s not a lot of bleeding but that was just my experience honestly.

I had an unmedicated birth last month and it was great actually. I can’t get an epidural safely cause I have scoliosis so chose not to 😅 The contractions were easy to cope with at home through deep breathing, counting how long they’d last and getting on all fours/stretching. Then gas and air got me through the last hour and pushing stage. I gave birth at a birth centre (midwife led) at the hospital and the staff were so kind. I instinctively started low groaning. I literally had no control over the noises I made at the pushing stage I just knew not to scream cause it wouldn’t help 😅😅 The recovery was a lot simpler than what I’ve seen others go through too despite having second degree tears. I highly recommend birth centres if you’re sure you don’t want an epidural.

@@potato1084 I simply ✨refused✨ to have an epidural because of many reasons! It just wasn’t something I wanted after lots of research! Between the nurses and my husband cheering me on, i pushed through for about 20 hours before we realized I was going to have to have a C-section because I was in hard labor but baby girl wasn’t going to fit through and was starting to get stuck! I’d do it all over again in a hard beat! I actually slept for a several hours because my contractions got too intense 🤣 I stayed on my hands and knees or bent over the bed because it was most comfortable for me! I would’ve pushed that way too if I didn’t have to have a C-section!
I had my first medicated and then my twins unmedicated. The recovery I felt like was so much faster and easier when you have no epidural. I was up and walking immediately and had way less back pain. I also pushed them out faster because I could actually feel the need too. You did awesome hun. You should be crazy proud of yourself.

“I barely survived this time” was the realist comment😂 for my sister first baby she said she didn’t want an epidural but her labor went so fast that even though she changed her mind it was too late! I definitely sympathize with you after watching her go through that
I did the mile circuit and drank a lot of raspberry leaf tea during the end weeks and ended up having a very fast labor as well at 17 years old with my son now I’m 18 and want another haha

You're an inspiration 🥰 having babies is such a blessing
6:55 This is what I thought for my first (I’ve only had one) 😅😅 The contractions weren’t that bad but then my water broke fully and the contractions got worse but not “bad enough” for me to think I was far along. I got to the hospital and they said I was “about 10cm” and I started begging for gas and air. 30 mins later she was born. 😅 I also tore despite having a skilled midwife who used warm compresses, being on all fours and having an average-small sized baby. I also had excellent midwives and nurses and didn’t feel judged during the birth despite being a young mum. If you’re in the UK and low risk pick birth centres!

You did such a great job!! I had my first almost 4 months ago. I had to deal with labor, pushing, + a c section so recovery from both was interesting! The miles circuit definitely ramped up contractions for me. Glad things worked out for you, you look beautiful mama!

What happened to you is a lot like what happened to me on my 2nd baby except I was late with mine. It was pretty traumatic because I was planning on getting the epidural. After, it was a little easier to get around and I thought if I ever had more kids I might try to do it natural again. Not sure if I would be able to but we’ll never know. 2 kids and done! I was also a teen mom. But 43 yrs later I’m still married to my baby daddy. Lol. Wishing you all the best with your little family.
Love you brooke ❤

You are the only person I enjoy watching from
I chuckle while you’re going thru this story because while I was in labor with my second I felt exactly like you did. So much pain I couldn’t even think of who I even was or what was even going on lol. They were telling me to breathe and I just kept apologizing. You say so much you don’t even realize what it is your actually saying lol. They will sit there and ask you do you wanna lean fwd…do you wanna lay down..do you want this or that and at that point you just say yes to all of the above because your hurting so bad and can’t think about NOTHING else because the pain is so intense. No idea how you delivered naturally 😅 you’re another type of human B! 😂

My question for you is how long did it take for your stomach to go down? And aside from the no medication, what were some major differences between this birth and your first one?
Same story with me.I was 18 years old with my second baby pregnant,i had 30 min labor and she came so fast,i was in schock and disbelieve. With my first it taked longer then 23 hours to finally give birth to him.

I did raspberry leaf tea 43 years ago!
I had 1 VB and four c-sections. The trick to a c-section is: walk around the halls ASAP after surgery. It helps recovery faster.
I love it
best mama
Congratulations!! Im 29 and have 4 small kiddos! Oldest is 8 and youngest is 1 year old.. i had all of them naturally and unmedicated:) with my 2nd baby i actually gave birth at home cuz she just came too fast i also packed my hospital bag while pushing haha
It does not hurt “down there” after a c section. It just hurts where the incision is really bad. I did get the underwear and pad after because obviously I was bleeding. I bled for about 4-5wks after and omg it hurt so bad when they would press on my belly after.
Beautiful girl 💕
that’s good for u but there’s a lot of people like me who can’t tolerate levels of pains like labors and delivering nothing wrong with epidurals in my birth plan ofc nothing wrong with it all natural with no med either but it’s not always planned that way especially if something serious goes on complications and you need an emergency cesarian section!! ❤ no shame in either medicated or not medicated!!! whatever is most comfortable and good experience is a happy one ofc 😉
❤
Did you choose the name Athena because it started with an A like Aloura's? I love the name btw❤.
Where is your mirror from

How was it for the stitches without epidural ? Did u feel what they were doing and was it painful?
@potato1084
6 ай бұрын
In my experience it tickled??? I was given gas and air for the birth which my midwife suggested I use while she stitched up my second degree tears. She injected the area with anaesthetic so I didn’t feel the muscle stitches at all but I felt the thread when she stitched up the skin. It’s weird but not painful.

I just had my baby last Friday and I gave birth unmediated or epidural lol I had my Baby 3 weeks early I had preclampsia and high blood pressure. I 100% agree it’s painful as shit without anything. I had to get induced and mine happened pretty fast 😂

Did you know they're not 100 effective? It even says that on the box?
Be careful with epidural. Dive deep into it if you decide to expand your family more. 4 kids here - 2 hospital births - 1 epidural, 1 not, 2 unassisted homebirths. There's a lot of knowledge out there (beyond what practitioners will tell you) I wish you the best! If you have questions, let me know!
