Like...... Please never stop spoiling her with cuddles. Y'all enjoy it, she enjoys it; and shes better behaved and trained than 90% of birds I've met. You're phenomenal bird parents. I know you can spoil her w snugs and attention and also have a well-trained bird 😤 those aren't mutually-exclusive traits

@@DrunkFurYT Cuddling too much sexually stimulates parrots and floods them with hormones. Female birds will often get egg bound and can die from it. Male birds can become extremely aggressive. It's the main reason parrots are surrendered to rescues. They basically get so sexually frustrated that they can pluck their feathers, bite, scream, suffer from extreme separation anxiety and a host of other problems. The only safe place to stroke a parrot is around the head. I've had several rescue parrots that were cuddled too much and dumped at a rescue because of the problems it caused. One cockatoo would immediately try to hump my hands every single time I let him out of his cage and would bite because he wasn't able to. It's hard because they're so so cuddly, but it's ALWAYS bad for the birds.

Watching this makes me miss my African Grey. I had to give her away after I started working 7 12's. She did not like anybody other than me and my wife didnt do anything but complain about her. I thought it was cruel that she had to stay in her cage all the time. Id try to spend a little time with her when I got out the shower. But man I was always just so tired. She ended up getting a great home and she only like the woman that I gave her too. I had that bird for 28 years. About 1 month after she hatched. This was 10 years ago. Anyway I dodnt think you can spend to much time with your birds. Like dogs and cats, they love attention and more attention. Great video again Tyler.

im sure you hear this everyday but i love the affection you constantly give your animals. i wish i could personally tell each person that complains about it, off for you. people have too much time on their hands to complain about things. so on another note id like to thank you for teaching me soo much. I have a start up dog rescue and am learning more and more about reptiles. Its means alot when i see you have a new video because thats another opportunity for me to learn more. I have a love and a passion for animals that most people dont understand. I try to be responsible and learn everything and be prepare before i take on a new animal and in your videos you have a little bit of everything. I dont care what others say but you have made a tremendous difference in mine and my 15 year old sons life.
