Raise in minimum wage is good in the long run for the economy kasi tataas purchasing power ng masa. And you are right, dapat dahan dahan ang increase. Monthly review dapat.

Wrong. It's bad. Di mo ba napapansin bakit anlala ng inflation natin? Dahil sa mga ayuda at wage hikes. Law of Demand and Supply. Pagtaas ng purchasing power, dapat tumaas din presyo ng products. Maliban na lang kung natural na tumaas ang sahod ng tao via promotion, improvement ng proeduction ng pinagtatrabahuan nila, etc. Kaso hindi eh. Tumaas lang sahod kasi gusto natin.

Finally, may isa nang matinong pilipino na nakakaintindi na wrong move ang pagtaas ng sahod bilang "solution" sa inflation. Ewan ko ba't parang ignorante ang karamihan sa Law of Demand and Supply eh lahat naman ng High Schools tinuturo yan eh. :3

not a viable solution for untimely wage hike in the backdrop of world economic slowdown..Its better for our government to lower the prices of basic needs like food, and utilities like MERALCO, Manila water,etc,and subsidized oil,gas,and LPG..this makes sense more. I was talking to a bunch of company lawyers from different big corporations,they said they wanted to moved their manufacturing sectors and offices in Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia,China, Malaysia,and then some..the core reason is high cost of electricity bill and high wage of Filipino workers... these Filipino lawmakers aren't thinking in a cognitive way.this proposal will not end well ,ending with high unemployment rate.im not pro capitalist either,I'm just looking at the other side of the coin, it's the reality..this is a political move,election year next year,pogi points ng mga senador.

12:36 kasi nman hindi na po sila nagiimport ng panggatong sa planta nila, remember Indonesia have huge reserves of coal. Kaya natural na mura kuryente nila.
Baka maging new self service business model nlng lhat ng applicable businesses para maiwasan labor & service cost. Nag liit na nga ng mga margin ngyn past 10 years ago hndi pa ganito

Ang hirap naman kasi ibaba kuryente natin. Dependent tayo sa oil and coal na iniimport. Saw in anc before na kahit may coal tayo low grade sya kaya ngiimport pa rin tayo ng coal sa indonesia. Asa pang buksan nila yung nuclear plant. Isa pa yung malampaya pg madeplete at hindi mapalitan agad. Saan tayo kukuha ng 20% na contribution ng malampaya sa power ng luzon 😅😅

Gusto i-share mga pricing nung kabataan ko.. 1 Ganta rice P1.00, = 2.4 kilos Diesel / liter = 32 Centavos Kilo pork = P16.00 Jeepney ride = .10 Househelp salary= P30.00/month Minimum salary = 180.00/ month Usd to PHP = P4.00 Commercial Space rental (big area) >P470.00/ month Pepsi = 15 cents UST HS> 252.00/year tuition So sa salary adjustment P35/day= fair and would not harm most businesses.

Meron din ako nabasa last year na kaya hindi tumututol gaano mga businessmen kapag may taas sa sahod is ipapasa lang din nila sa consumer via price increase or portion decrease.

Kagaya ng Brunei maliit Ang GDP nila pero ang per Capita nila pinakamataas or pangalawa sa SEA region dahil maliit lang din population nila same is true sa singapore.
