My Back Is Broken... SPINAL
Спорт
Small practice get-off ends the day short.
I have always battled with back problems after a work incident years ago. I got shot in my lower back / spine by a framing nailer leaving me with some nerve and bone damage. The shock from the impact didn't resonate well with that lingering injury and cause my back to over react and lock up.
Hope to heal enough before next weekend's race so that I can salvage some points.

@@Moto_Mills I prefer the term Neurodivergent, but crazy is also accurate 😎🤣🤣🤣. Can't wait to see your POV dude!!
Dude, I don't want to overstate this, but I can't tell you how inspiring your video is, knowing that you're going into this with an injury. I think it's just the essence of really LIVING that you know how you want to spend part of the time in your life, and you don't let pain (or the fear of possible pain) stop you. Quite the inspiration for the rest of us (I'm 63). God speed with your recover, and best wishes for continued MX dominance! 🙂

It was something I battled with for awhile deciding on if i wanted to continue riding given the implications I could suffer with the right crash. We only have one life so we might as well live it doing what we love. I’ve since learned how to minimize the pain but in this situation I was unable to avoid the damage

Never really been into motorbike stuff, dangerous and always a little confusing to watch professionally, so I stick to monster trucks for the most part. However, it is fun to see what other people can accomplish out on small tracks as they advance with their riding. Nice to see you're back and going strong again

Crazy that all the balls out jumps and other things you do this little wipe out caused so much pain. I once fell snowboarding going real slow and I just impacted the ground so hard. People were laughing too and it sucked.

The fall doesn’t appear to crazy but it’s about a 5ft drop. Back just couldn’t take it
Crazy how sometimes you can have the gnarliest crash and only have a few scratches and sometimes you can have a crash that seems like nothing and end up breaking your back

Title was from a Mike Tyson fight. But 5 years ago I got shot in the spine by a framing nailer on the job. It has since caused my back pain so crashes like cause it to flare up. No it’s not actually broken
@eli9494

I thought you actually broke your back. Didn't seem fast enough of a crash but could of with that drop off. Anyway I've actually broke my back. Had to have a fusion, was hell. Was in 2006, I'm riding now (well got a broken wrist atm) just did that, glad it's really not broke, title kinda misleading
@Moto_Mills

@@eli9494 I was given the option of a fusion or let it heal and do 2 years of PT. I chose the PT. The title is from a Mike Tyson fight years ago. Figured it was fitting for the occasion haha.

@Moto_Mills right choices man, That's a long time, but it takes about a year for a fusion to heal, at least mine did, and painful as hell lol. I get the reference now, I seen him say that 😆
