The Panda 4x4 (especially the old model, the one they built in the '90s) is excellent off road. Mud, snow, gravel, rocks, rivers. If you know how to drive it, it's really good. It's also not understood by people who have never driven it off road. It's one of those cars, that "the people who knows, knows!".

Great vlog, reminded me of my younger days way back in the early 80's. All we had were rwd cars with no traction control, and we couldn't wait for that first good snowfall of winter. We had huge grins just like you did. :)

I, for one, am thrilled that you actually use the AMG GTR in all weather. So many people only use cars like that in 'perfect' weather

Winnipeg Car Life the whole car is covered in plastic film so no damage to paint at all! Even if rocks hit it its still protected! Cant really admire him for driving any of his cars in rough weather they are all protected!! That being said alot wont drive in bad weather even with the protection!! Tim is the best supercar youtuber though for sure! No heavy merchandise pushing, passion and all the best cars money can by!!😎😁

It's not only about the paint, but more so about all the salt from the roads possibly corroding some elements of the undercarriage, as well as the greater risk of getting your car damaged due to the conditions (your fault or not).

Pro tip for anyone in snowy areas: keep a spray bottle of 50/50 isopropyl alcohol/water and spray it on icy windows...it will melt through the ice incredibly quick and drastically speed up the defrosting process.

Reminds me of the fun i had with my C63 204 with snow just before they cleaned the roads. Maybe i had slightly better traction because i had 225 18 inch winter tires all around. This is when you learn how to drive a fun car.

Hey Tim, Firstly, I want to congratulate you on your videos. They are alot of fun to watch. Your enthusiasm is infectious! Secondly, I'll be getting married next month and partly because of you, I wanted a AMG GT variant car for the wedding so me and my bride can make an entrance :-) (and probably more important so I can drive one). Remember, shmee, how the regera had quite narrow winter tyres when you were filming it an year ago or so.. That´s because narrow tyres work better in snow since they sink through it more rather than float over it what happends if you have a light car and massively wide tyres. For next winter I would suggest that you found out if there were a chance to fit narrower wheels and tyres there.. If you do not believe me, watch any winter rally clip/photo and see how narrow tyres they have - there´s a reason for that. :)

Spent a year as a transfer driver in the French alps i used to see at least 1 car a week on its roof. I was driving 4 wheel drive VW caravelle ....no problems in the snow :D

Now THATS a cold start!!!

When I bought my old SAAB which spent most of its life in New England, it had these tiny scratch marks on the bonnet. I couldn't figure out how it got those until it snowed here. Aghhh. The previous owner used either a big brush or broom to sweep the snow off of the bonnet. Please please garage the Benz. I know euro sports cars love to play in the snow, esp. SAABs. But they deserve to be garaged in a nice warm garage after having all of that salt and snow melting stuff washed off the undercarriage first. And I hope that the tow rope was tied off to a proper towing hook. You need the tow hook for the snowy days.

As I watch this we had 6" of snow yesterday, what had melted on the road today turned to ice as temps plummeted to -3 F and we now are in the process of getting 4 more inches. Anyone with AWD is doing okay but slipping and sliding is more of the norm right now.

Hi, Tim, I've been thinking that it must have been a bliss driving GTR through the winding roads of Cortina and although the GTR is a little bit cumbersome it seemed nimble. When you got stuck in the snow and the Panda came to dig your car out I was utterly astonished !!! The one thing that I'd like to ask you is if you had the possibility, would you be willing to trade your GTR for a GTC 4 Lusso???
