Great job Lora! It's great that your kids experiencing the way of farming. Now they know where the rice coming from how to produce it. It's a long process. That is why we don't want to waste rice. A grain of rice is worth hard labor and sweat. Farmers are heroes and we should teach our new generation to appreciate them.

Nice to see that your children and your wife teaching and experiencing how to planting rice and they're not maarti
"It's hard work but they are happy." All respect to all farmers' hard work and dedication.
The rice that has been planted with love, fertilized by the the sweat and tears of the Filipino farmers are more nutritious than machine grown.
That is why we filipinos don’t just throw away left foods, even here in japan i always talk to my kids that we are lucky enough to have foods in table, while others have NONE!

Welcome to our way of living in the Philippines. Feel to be more of a filipino while you are all in our native land. Kudos.
What a place sarap maalala sa bukid during childhood days half a century na prayers and God bless sa pamilyang ito.
You need to experience having meal at the farm field with your whole family. Try it!
"Planting rice is never fun, doing it in heat of sun..." as we sing in Filipino. Mahirap na masaya. Hard work but happy people. It's more fun in the Philippines.
The fact that you gave it a shot says wonders!
Farmers are unsung or neglected heroes...if not for them we dont have food on the table. Most of the time discriminated by so called "rich" . Nice experience Lora 👍👌

Wow! Lora is doing good. I really admire your courage and initiative.
Farmers and Fishermen are the backbone of our society. Without them society won’t flourish. The government should help our farmers to adapt and use new agri technology just like our neighbor asian countries. They have been neglected since 1986 or have little support. I respect and salute our famers even they have little returns. God bless to all farmers in our country. When my kids are little, I told them not to leave a single grain of rice when they eat and remind how farmers plant them manually. Good job guys for allowing yourselves to be farmers in couple hours and letting your American family witness the hardwork and sacrifice of our farmers. Please continue what you do.
Wow! Tanim palay! Katulad din nila Vichecka and Eugene nag tanim palay sa Antiqui at Polish wife ng Mindanao God bless.
Every new experience comes from the heart. Your family is always smiling. Take Care😇
It's nice of you Lora trying to do this thing .its a good experience for the kids .Nice seeing you guys doing this in the Philippines...Take care you guy's...
Such a great experience guys.
I saw someday Elie is very responsible son for his siblings and for you
wow....you guys are so lucky to experience how to plant rice.....im a filipino but i didnt experience that....more fun in province life...
my late grandfather was a rice farmer. thank you for this vid. 👍
That’s great. I also experienced that as a kid, as well as harvesting.
💡The Philippines ranks among the countries that consume the most rice. In fact, the Ifugao province features 2,000-year-old rice terraces that were hand-carved into the mountains by ancestors of the indigenous people.

that looke3d like fun, not something i could do, but fun to watch...lol...John, youre such a good and happy guy. :)
Our farmers are the most hardworking people in the world. But they are taken for granted by the government. That's why they decrease in numbers each year. I'm from Tarlac City and I'm one of the witness on how they suffer & lost interest in farming because from their parents till now life becomes more difficult and remains hard forever. Good to see that you're able to experience how difficult to be a farmer in the Philippines. Thank you Half Asian Family. Sir John, Lora, Eli, Esmie, Teo & Reyna ganda baby. 🇵🇭

Salute to our Farmers. I agree with your statement regarding our neglected farmer. In the future most of this land would no longer produce crops, how sad to see that from a rice producing country turned into a rice exporting one.....tssk

Correct. Farmers never get recovery money from their huge losses when calamities hit them. Govt officials seldom deliver these money to them indivudually but it goes into their town "projects or repairing roads and bridges"
I like your wife .... very humble.
Look good of being a rice farmer .. trying Pilipinas life .. with a smile 😊❤️
Nice american wife bro! She is very kind and humble..
It's really hard Lora but it is a great experienced and a lot of fun.
Life here in Philippines is very simple even you work so hard but it's more fun.! 👍 🇵🇭
Nice to see that your family is getting used to our culture, many of us living abroad are planning too to spend our retirement in our homeland
Good for you to experience what the farmers normally do in there daily life.
I remembered as a kid my Mom’s Schoolmate’s Together With Their Own Kids or Family Have. A Picnic Party at The Bukid During The Harvesting Time ng Sticky Rice. While the farmers are preparing pounding the roasted sticky rice to make a #Pinipig We kids are playing via catching fish at the ilog and the male’s our Dad’s are grilling sa meats and fish. And we all ate together in the banana leaves we called salo salo now called budol fights. And the main events after the Lunch was a cold ginataang pinipig and bibingkang pinipig…and we have a take-home pinipig. At may bayad po yon ciempre…ganon noon nakakabawi sa kita ang Farmers. I Hope Mauso at Maibalik Po Yon sa Pilipinas…kimbaga sa ibang bansa may apple picking, may bayad yon…or strawberry picking. Walang tatalo sa naranasan ko sa #PipiganSaKaingin.
That's the strength of Filipino, hard work , happy together and creativity.
That is a lot of fun!! I’m glad the kids got to experience walking on rice paddies. Lora, you did a good job on planting rice considering it was your first time doing it.
