Imo I think, early jets just eat your ammo (me 262 can eat 40mms of murican AA)

Mk.24 is an acquired taste, you either hate it or you love it. I love when my teams feels bad for me in the beginning but then I’m the one with more kills than anyone in the match XD

I used to love it back when it fought tbe other superprops, now it's just overtiered as fuck, a spitfire shouldn't fight a plane that can go 1100kph on the deck, it's equal to the P-51H (about equal climb, slower, but turns better), so why is it 7.0 while the P-51H is 6.3 and isn't overpowered

You kinda depend on the enemies being bad, tho. If they keep their energy you just won't be able to catch them. I still love flying it every now and then and it's great on GRB

Yeah, generally it's better to use the default belts or ground belts with hispanos. Default has 50% HE shells, and the AP rounds have a higher chance of one-tapping something vital like the engine or pilot.

The Hispanos tendency to spark is contagious, even the rockets sparked lmao.

That rp3 spark physically hurt, knowing how comically slow and difficult they are. But nice shot vs that p51 :)

I can feel my blood pressure rising just watching those hits and crits.

Back when it was still 6.7 and the Hispanos actually did damage, I put a talisman on for grinding. 5:14 perfectly describes how that turned out

The single 50cal on a yak does more damage then 4 20mm hispanos

"Tortured" is exactly the word 17-pdr? Nerfed. Hispanos? Nerfed. Additional american and canadian tanks that definitely were in British service (e.g. Boarhound and other Shermans)? Absent. British helis? Completely dead, enjoy your 4 helicopters. Light tanks as Warrior or on its basis? You want too much. Challenger 2s' armour fixes? No, we need another mod. Still my favourite nation to play though.

I still remember when ground sweden was first added and i was flying a j21 in ground rb at 6.7 where i killed on of these and a 262, god that was amzing feeling

i think we can commonly agree that the br bracket from 6.0-8.0 is generally suffering, with very few exceptions, but one can physically feel the pain of 'Hit™' and 'Critical Hit™' with cannons

So in other words, Gaijin still can't fix things without breaking others? They fixed the Japanese 20mm, but the hispanos (and also somehow rockets) now get to play sparkle thunder?

For some reason I really liked that Spit Mk24 once spaded. I'm a average air RB player (using a controler) but the MK24 is the plane I got the most aces with.

Well, according to Wikipedia, Sabre was introduced in 1949, while Spitfire Mk24, the last Spitfire, was produced until 1948 and used by RAF until 1952. So there's really nothing wrong with it.

They're basically the same Hispanos you've been using since 3.0 with the Hurricane or even 2.3 with the Beaufighter if you fly AB. If you're familiar enough with them, go for stealth, if you still want tracers, air belts. And it's definitely my pick for CAS/CAP for those tiers, the advantage in low speed acceleration makes it great for it.

BTW jets have absolutely busted damage models. MG151/20 HEI to the wing of F89B, part of the wing NEXT to the part that was hit turns SLIGHTLY yellow. Yeah.... EDIT: I would like to clarify - the part that was hit didn't even turn light yellow, because premium I guess XD

Hi smigol, can you please make a tutorial on how to fight against Me-163s? Currently grinding camos in La-15 and I have problems with it, I can't outrun or outclimb or outstall or outmaneuver it, so I have troubles with trying to outfuel it. For non-smigol readers: La-15 has great energy retention, decent maneuverability and rip speed of 945 kph on 8.0. So the main strategy is to out-energy whatever it sees. But such tricks won't work against me-163, as thanks to its rocket engine, that is able to produce massive amounts of power in short time, it is able to catch up to me no matter what I do - dive, climb or run away in a straight line. Issue is, Me-262 rip speed is bigger than La-15s, so I literally cannot run away from it, no matter the circumstances, and I can't avoid it for long, as its maneuverability and energy manipulation ability is simply so much better. So, I would be very grateful if Smigol, the very good pilot he is, made a tutorial on what to do against me-163s, as he already did with XP-50s.

It's weird cuz everything else with Hispanos at the moment is basically a one touch kill. You flown the Hornet lately? Instakills everything with the exact same armament as this Spit.

It's British, you can't expect Gaijin to make anything British good. Superprops should have their own tier, just lump them all together

i remember it was put at 7.0 back in the day when it was broken op. iirc before being 6.7 was 6.3 and the 22 was 6.0 good old days. idk about modern day meta cuz i quitted ages ago but it could be put back to 6.3

So it’s not really that the cannons are bad on the spit (Airbelt SAP shells do wonders) it’s just that jet aircraft have inflated damage models meaning they take way more shit before blowing up, which is unrealistic as IRL early jets quite litterally ripped themself spart due to high airframe stress… Also now go play the wellingtons and enjoy the non-existent damage model, as it quite litterally is broken… i got my tail shot clean off more often then not (Which it shouldn’t due to geodesic design) by f’ing 7.92’s… Gaijn plz fix muh wellies
