Back in 2009 or so, I was out touring with Elvis Costello, and we were to play 3 nights at Borgata in AC. As we checked in, they gave everybody $25 for slot play, and in the check-in lobby area, there was one of these WOF machines. The whole crew went over and started dumping their free play into it one at a time. As we played, the bus drivers came in from parking the buses and they joined us after checking in. We were waiting on them anyway, as the plan was that we were all going to go and eat somewhere together in the casino before heading up to our rooms. The last bus driver *_HIT_* that machine for $5000! Needless to say, he bought us all lunch!

@@soupy8959 Thanks. He was great to work for. Really a gracious and appreciative-type guy. The crew was treated very well. Did you see the Spinning Songbook Tour, with the giant spinning wheel of songs? If so, that was me doing the lighting.

@@oldiesgeek454 I honestly don't. The machine went loopy and the front desk clerk brought him back to the front desk, gave him a chit, and he took that to the cage. If there was talk among us about his taxes, I don't remember. But he bought 8 of us lunch.

i highly doubt he plays "professionally" its more likely he doesn't advertise his losings and only posts himself winning

In 2017, I won 5000$ on a WOF Gold Spin at New York New York, I was in shocked ! I played a couple others machines and I went home, in France, with a total of 6000$ in my pocket. Two years later, on october 2019, I won 2000$ on the exact same machine in the exact same casino 😮
