Tozer and Spurgeon are from times over 100 years ago but they both are easy to read for their time and they are phenomenal 🔥🔥

Gosh, first, I love seeing your face! Second, SOOOO many good books here that I love and also that I want to get tooooo!! The book on the Trinity for anyone interested is "Delighting In the Trinity" by Michael Reeves and IT. IS. SO. GOOOOOD! ❤❤❤

Love your enthusiasm! I have heard Christian booktubers recommend Gentle and Lowly. I’m always skeptical about younger people recommending Christian nonfiction to me because I am turning 60 in a couple of months and I have been a Christian since 11 years old. But I think I will give it a try after your review. I don’t read a lot of Christian nonfiction unless it’s a memoir. If you want to study prophecy I would recommend books by Ron Rhodes; for example 40 days through Genesis, 40 days through Daniel. Jesus is coming back!!!! The Rapture of the Church first. The Second Coming is at the end of the Tribulation and the church is with Him. Great video! 👏🏻I don’t know if I can recommend because I just barely started it but Joy in Christ’s Presence by C.H. Spurgeon.

I love the covers of Gentle & Lowly, Deeper, etc. I mean seriously, how beautiful! 😍

Leif Hetland has a great book on the orphan spirit, too! Part of his sonship series. It’s so nice hearing someone else talk about that subject. I feel like it’s been since I was in college that I was around people who dug deep into that!!🥹💕

I love your content, and have, for you, the title of a book that I think you would enjoy: “Experiencing God: Knowing and doing the will of God”! I came across this book on audio, read the prologue, and decided to read the entire book at some point myself. Read "Becoming Elisabeth Elliot" before "Being Elisabeth Elliot" if you can. She is fabulous and a true, no-nonsense woman of faith. Also recommend any of her audio teachings because she just tells it like it is (teaching the Bible as truth, like what a concept?!) and it's so refreshing! Love your recommendations. Paul Miller's "A Praying Life" is also lovely. Blessings, Lauren!!

Have you heard of Alisa Childers? She has a podcast (videos on KZread) where she discusses a variety of topics from a Christian perspective including videos on Spiritual abuse. She also has 3 books out that I really enjoyed (she narrates her own audiobooks).
