Lois is a rookie and can’t see that Vicki is trying to dim her light. Vicki knows Lois has great potential and wants to use that potential while locking her down under her supervision.

That stinger with Lex actually highlights that Steel's armour in this episode actually resembles Lex's battle suit from the comics significantly more than Steel's armour. Neat bit of foreshadowing we might not pick up on.

It's interesting how they took such liberties with John Iron's Steel suit. But you know, if you painted it green it would kind of look like Lex's power armo.....Well I'll be Darned!!!

No wonder Lex bought out the Amertek. I like how they're slowly making Lex into a looming threat and just like they said hes sort of like the "Anti Clark Kent" growing and developing new skills but ultimately in a more sinister way like how its showing him grow Lexcorp, building his empire, especially his partnership with Waller and now possessing the Metallo robots. Im excited when we eventually see Superman and Lex finally clash and begin their iconic rivalry.

Makes sense that Luthor and Waller would want to acquire Amertek, since the Metallos and the Steel armor aren't based on Kryptonian technology, and thus not vulnerable to kryptonite.

I feel like we might be building the death for the finale and we might get an adaptation of Reign of Supermen during the first few episodes of next season

Super speed? Time travel perhaps.

This episode had a lot happening in it, yet it felt like it could have done more. Clark is clearly having a harder time balancing his life as Clark Kent and Superman with Sam Lane in Clark and Jimmy's apartment. Not to mention that this episode is hinting that Sam is going to learn about Clark being Superman. Plus, Clark is still unable to talk about the Kara situation with Lois. To make things even more complicated, Lois has to deal with her rivalry with Vicki Vale. I do like the inclusion of Silas Stone and especially John Henry Irons. Superman does seem to admire John Henry Irons. Apparently, Flip is related to John Henry Irons, which I like. Also, Livewire seems to be back as a hired mercenary. It's unfortunate that she managed to escape, but she at least knows that she doesn't stand a chance against Superman on her own. Nice to see Superman and John Henry Irons work together to stop the Metallo robots and save the city from being destroyed by the AmerTek tower, with a little help from Flip. While I do think that Vicki does genuinely respect Lois, I honestly don't think that Lois should take the job offer. Lois is letting her admiration towards Vicki blind her to the fact Vicki has lost some journalistic integrity in her pursuit of scoops. The only way that it makes sense for Lois to even take the job is to set up Superman meeting Batman. Unfortunately, once again, Clark and Lois fail to communicate how they are feeling, as Clark has to write an article just when Lois needs to talk about Vicki's offer. Seriously though, Gotham is a far more dangerous place to live than Metropolis, even with Batman. Clark did make a great article about John Henry Irons, which shows Clark's humility, humanity, and how he believes in people. Too bad Lex Luthor had to ruin it by legitimately taking over AmerTek, hinting at the rise of LexCorp, taking away John's Steel suit, and giving Amanda Waller an army of Metallo robots. I'm still waiting for the official meeting between Lex Luthor and Superman, and I even hope that Lex meets him as Clark Kent to see how he reacts differently to Clark and Superman.

@@TheMontyVerse I am not sure that they are going to confront each other at the end of the season, but it is a possibility. Either way, I can't wait for that inevitable confrontation between Superman and Lex Luthor.

For lovers of Superman team-ups, I recommend DC Comics Presents and the first 16 or so issues of John Byrne's Action Comics run(maybe minus the Mr Miracle/Big Barda issues...).

for sure with lex owning amertec we gonna see cyborg superman and metallo down the road to eventually lex combat suit when he goes toe to tow with superman.

to add: with s2 trailer showing clark goes to space and this just guessing. - he cant leave metropolis undefended, so for sure with the ppl recognize john henry then clark will leave metropolis to him for a bit with providing i assume some form of kryptonian tech for john to work with and make the ideal suit like ppl see in comics. - timing wise i do wonder if this will tie in with hank going to space, accident happaned, barely alive and then lex takes him and transformers him into cyborg superman. - far down the road if we gonna see some form of clarks super flare (newer power from new 52 comics, like heat vision but he can expunge the solar cells within his body to cause a solar flare around him) that will leave him out of commision for while. i can see a reign of supermen like scenario of cyborg superman vs john henry/steel on protecting metropolis and supervision. or even eradicator (advanced kyptonian ai robot that kinda looks like superman but with a visor) even clark encounters him or retrieve a decommisioned robot that is eradicator.

MontyVerse and Nicki, That was a fantastic and an awesome reaction episode of My Adventures with Superman Season 2 that is titled Fullmetal Scientist. Also, Superman and Lois are a fantastic Couple.
