My (Accepted!) Complete AMCAS Application (With GPA MCAT AND TIPS) Med School
Hey everyone! Here's a review of my entire AMCAS application! I was accepted this past year into medical school and I would love nothing more than to help yo get accepted as well :) I can't say how excited I am to be a medical student, a doctor, and one day a surgeon. Good luck this application cycle, and please like and subscribe for more help and content!

What made you take your MCAT in June? I’ve often heard that’s too late in the cycle
Thanks for sharing your story. I have binged watching vdos on med school applications. Your vdo contains more details than others. Just subbed you. Hope to see more vdos on med school. May I ask you a question? What do you think of a BS/MD program that guarantees a seat in a med school if - gpa >=3.6 first 2 years and >=3.8 last 2 years of college - MCAT >=514 - 100 hours of job shadow - some volunteer hours Is this a good deal? We are being offered this deal. We don't know if the bar is too high or not.

Hey! Yeah I think it’s a good deal as long as the candidate it right. Having limits like that is tough when something unexpected happens in a students life which might make studying difficult, but should everything go right it’s an awesome opportunity to secure a seat in a med school. It would be enchumbe my on that student to understand it will limit a bit of their options for médica later on, as some med schools have higher success matching students to residency programs. I would recommend studying the history of the med schools matches from the past years to assure oneself that the school matches students into programs of merit and in the specialities that the student is interested in :). Thanks for your comment!

@@doctorsurfer7640 Thanks for your reply.
Can I ask what made you choose Carver over Quinnipiac?
@doctorsurfer7640

Of course! For me, it came down to the rate at which Carver students match into surgical residencies, specifically in Ophthalmology. Carver has a long history of producing ophthalmologists which you can check out. Quinnipiac is for sure a great community and going there for sure isn't a bad decision :) All the best my friend
Come here, one question, You did all that in pre med ? If yes, you are amazing. Considering I need to work for some time in case I pass to pre med this is insane.

Not all during pre-med! I think I would explode haha. I took three years to work and travel after premed. I’m a big proponent of this, and believe that jumping right into med school is a heavy load for students. Take all the time you need! Being young is a once in a lifetime experience :) all the best my friend
Random thing, but we have the same desk lamp 😂
Do you have an Instagram! I’m a Hopkins undergrad taking the MCATS in less than two weeks and I’ve never been so nervous for something in my entire life
