It's tough when you know how everything smells, I think it's about finding that passion again and trying to enjoy each and every fragrance just the way it is. Seems to help me.

Some cool fragrances Nate. Nice collection! The Azzarro Chrome Pure caught my eye. This is one that I purchased last year and wore over the summer. I love it. Received a few comploments from it too. Smooth and coconutty :) Anyway, Tom Ford Ombre Leather is one of my absolute favorites as well. Wore it for Halloween. Today, I'm wearing the original SpiceBomb. It's snowing today in Salt Lake City. Seemed like a perfect fit. Cheers!

Nice collection. Individual is one of my regrets even though it doesn’t cost anything. I get caught up in the hype. Blind buying… but the two I don’t regret are Prada L’Homme and Aqua Di Gio Profumo. Love them

I bet your collecting looks even more impressive today because a year is a long time in the fragrance collecting world but still a great collection

Nice collection! I have many of the same ones you have. At least in your case though you are a reviewer and have more reason to keep buying new fragrances. Some of us on the other hand who aren’t reviewers are just addicted and find it hard to stop buying new ones. Or at least I find myself in that situation. But when is it enough? I’ve got over 50 bottles now and told myself I wouldn’t buy anymore until I finished off a couple bottles or gifted some to someone

That's one of my biggest struggles. I only started reviewing cologne 3 months ago on August 1st. There's no way I could accumulate all these in 3 months. (Well if I was loaded...🤣) But fragrance collecting falls under a hoarding or a shopping addiction and if you have unresolved traumas It can lead to buying a whole bunch of bottles. It happened to me, I was grieving the loss of a family member passing and I just went on a buying spree. That's a little heavy understand not everyone is going through something like that. The best suggestion I would say is give yourself a limit of four or five a year. You can buy one per season. or you have to use half a bottle before you can buy another one? Maybe putting a limit on them? 25, 30, 50? And keeping it strict with yourself. It's a really difficult thing because of how glamorous at the bottles and how KZread fragrance reviewers like myself make it sound. I don't know. It's a really tough subject. 🫠😂

Not only you all the fragrance lover have one thing in common “ curiosity” . We dont need fragrance for anyone but for ourselves and that cost expensive.

I have almost 20 years collecting fragrances now" so you do the math on that one buddy !!!! Lol lol lol 🤣 😀 But honestly I love the experience of this beautiful hobby. 👍💯💯💯

Yes I can! I love Acqua di gio, Just don't have any at this time! I've gone through 3 bottles of Profumo. Love that stuff. I will be buying another bottle one day.

JUST ONE QUESTION !!!??? Don't these fragrances expire after a certain period of time ? Will you use all of them before they turn bad or you got other people using your flankers or what ? How do you deal with this issue (or how are you planning to deal with it) ?

Planning on just crying. But for the most part fragrances don't go bad. The top note could go sour if they're natural. But most designer fragrances are fully synthetic now days because a lot of regulations on naturals and because they live in a base of alcohol, you don't have to worry about mold. Evaporation doesn't play a part because the bottles are sealed. Just speculating from a chemistry point of view. They could morph over time but that's the only thing that I really am concerned with. I've had friends who held on to a bottle perfume for 25 plus years and they still wear it.

Fragrances dont expire unless you keep them in environments where heat fluctuates a lot (the bathroom) or expose them to direct UV light. There are people that use guerlain perfumes made in the 1950s and theyre still good.

So how many fragrances would you say you have in total? I've been collecting for almost 2 years and am constantly having to keep the number of bottles to a manageable level. My cut off is 50 bottles. If my collection goes above 50 bottles then I have to sell of some bottles, that's that only way I can't prevent things from getting out of control.

It's a really harsh reality, I think the best way to cut yourself off from buying fragrances is to stop watching fragrance reviewers such as myself. It falls into a shopping addiction and if you remove the temptations you can rid the habit. I try to make fragrance content entertaining and fun, but I understand that showing off all these bottles or showing new bottles is just feeding somebody's addiction. Trust me I struggle with the same thing. I bought way too many bottles. Helping me now because I'm reviewing them. It's definitely been a struggle for me.

I shoot with a lot of male models/realtors for my work and they ALL say they wear "Light Blue" Its mind blowing. I do tell them they smell good. I've asked 15 people over a few years, no joke everyone says light blue... Hard for me to buy a bottle.

It's a quality "mall" collection, very little off the beaten path and middle east poor (was there anything beyond those 3 or so bottles of Armafs & that that $15 bottle of Ejaazi Silver?). A $6K collection with $100 in middle east frags? Not a single Issey Miyake in all that collection? Interesting....roast over - just having some fun.

@@ParagonFragrances real talk, you have such a nice collection, it's hard to think of what might be a 'new color' (so to speak) for you, but l'eau d'issey pour homme noir ambre might. speaking of color, first time seeing your channel, the color scheme background (amber/green/blue) is extremely well done.

In three or four years, all this will be rubbish. Or maybe not?
