When you see how he travels and what he eats and how much his equipment is, it's obvious he's got a very good amount of money.... but he also is like "So I ordered a hamburger and got a beer". That down-to-earth attitude is what keeps me coming back.

@@JimTheFly Indeed! I do sometimes see the interactions and think "I'd love to travel with him" the amount of confidence is incredible. Although travelling around the world and meeting/being around superstars of F1 would make you a very confident person. Silly but wholesome story from a stranger on the internet time: I used to be very shy, and somewhat still am, but when I last saw my grandmother she said that all I have to do is just say "Hi I'm Endless River, nice to meet you" and shake their hand. She made me do it to everyone at the family reunion that year lol. It sure raised my confidence and allowed me to get comfortable meeting people in a semi-formal environment (like at the bank I work at) which made meeting people in an informal setting easier. If you're still reading this, you're a legend and I hope you guys have a great weekend! It was nice "meeting" you guys :)

Always a joy accompanying you on your travels. Gives me a great idea of what I might expect to encounter on a trip. And.... no more tripping. Potentially very bad for your health and, oh yeah, your kit.

Your travel vids just keep getting more and more professional. Thoroughly enjoyable to watch from my couch and getting excited already for next weekends race.

As always, a really entertaining video. Glad to see you get to go home this year. I'm really looking forward to watching a race in Melbourne again after the couple of years' hiatus.

I also had a nightmare of a time getting into the Qantas Business Lounge in Melbourne. The staff were very unreasonable and didn’t make me or my pregnant partner feel good at all :( Love the videos Kym!

Last year the betting was on how many times Kym could leave an expensive camera behind somewhere (on a transfer bus, in a taxi, etc.), yet still get it returned! This year it’s gonna be how many times Kym can throw his cameras and lenses at the ground and not actually damage anything. 😂. Nice job using your body to protect the equipment Kym. Looking forward to keeping up with your Denis Jenkinson style F1 travel blogs. Hope you get to enjoy a few days with family.

I saw that in the lounge when I was there last year

Great video. Traveled to Madagascar from NYC back in December 2021 and March 13 2022. No one checked my Covid tests. It was a huge worry and bother getting those done and no one gave a flying fig. I was mightily disappointed.

Very interesting about your F1 training sessions,you did well. Cycled the F1 circuit lots of times whilst they were setting up the Gp.You should mention how good the tram system, cycle tracks are to get people to and from the circuit?

Ah, the Prince Hotel. Remember having a nice brekky in there during the 2020 non-Australian GP weekend. Nice place. Think me and my wife were down there early to see if we could spot the famous penguins! Looking forward to the race next weekend, alas from Bucks [England] not Albert Park.

Fairly new to you channel and really enjoying your flight videos. Recently had 3 Avis cars in NZ. Having booked and paid for full insurance, they tried twice to add it on again,and then added a false "early collection" charge to my credit card without telling me. Not good.

Have you done a house tour video lately? Your place always looks full of cool art & design. (Don't show too much if you're worried about getting robbed, though.)

Noise cancelling headphones really help when air travelling. I find it cuts my jet lag by 20%
