Let me know what you think of this longer, less edited version of the video please fellas. Would you father this 1 hour long video, or edited down to 10-15mins?

Love these longer videos so we can deep dive every process. Gordon is an absolute craftsman, more of him please and you have to get him in the car this engine ends up in!

It was good to see all the work that went into this. How , and why. Explanations for work . The engineer contributed so much more to this video . Tops.

Longer thanks from Ireland 🇮🇪
Old school engineering at its best 👌
It's so good being able to watch True Masters of their trade at work.
Thanks to Gordon for agreeing to go through the process on camera showing how much work actually goes in to getting these engines refreshed. Cheers Adam.
An hour long video sounded like at lot but Gordon is clearly knowledgeable and very good at explaining things and demonstrating what he is doing. Kept my interest the whole way through 👍Also, you are very good at filming details of someone's work Adam, and letting people talk about what they are doing without interrupting their flow.
Shame is, there are not many Gordon's coning through the pipeline picking up on his skills. Kids these days don't want to get their hands dirty. Good job there is the likes of Adam, willing to make a go of it. Good on you Adam 👍More vids with Gordon and his Jedi engineering skills.

Totally agree was thinking the same thing!
Good video,Gordon is a master at engine building, and I’ve seen some of of the cars he built, ask him about the mk1 escort van with a a cosworth engine he built or the vx ferenza.hes a genuine honest friendly guy.
ADAM ,I've been following you for a while now and can't believe how far you have come on from a 4min video asking for a sunroof for your sierra to an 1hr long episode of epic engine rebuilds ,you are one of a kind , keep doing what you love , cheers Aaron
Love watching a master at work, attention to detail just makes you relax and know this job has been done properly.
Watching him grinding the valves by hand with the paste takes me back to my youth and working on my MK2 escort. I wouldn't have a clue what to do now ! Great video 😉👍🏴
Fabulous video Adam, an thanks so much to Gordon for sharing his skill for us all to enjoy, master at work 😎😎
Hats off to Gordon.... I dont think its easy being filmed and doing commentary while you work.....
Your so lucky to have Gordon around, he's a dying breed. How he explains what he's doing and why , that fourty year's of graft. Great video Adam, keep em coming.
Hi Adam - I'm a big fan of cosworths and I'm really enjoying your videos - this longer video was excellent - please do some more
Brought back memories form 30years ago with me paste lapping tool an me palms on a 24v Vauxhall senator joys of a apprentice. Love it .
Liked the longer vid, great to see what goes into a rebuild.
DON'T get Barrum to do it or u will be there next comeback engine failure video lol
very interesting video, watching a master craftsman is always good. what I like about your videos, is no annoying music, it's always unnecessary.
Great video keep them at this length I like to watch the process and learn what they do I want a bit of an education and Gordon teachs loads great video and good quality
REALLY in joyed the vid on the head that man Gordon knows his stuff
This guy knows his stuff👍 Bray them guides in Gordon😁
Glad you took the head to a YB Guru ,cheers Adam 👍😉💪
tig welding is far easier than mig - because when mig starts going wrong you can only add more weld to get out of a problem, whereas tig is like gas welding or even soldering where the heat and filler are separate
That is proper old school hand driven mechanical work as it should be. Nice to see this done... thanks for the video !!!
You can’t get better than years of experience I’ve always been grateful for all the work Gordon did for me I would let anyone else do engineer work but him these long videos are so good 😊😊
YES! Gordon's back!
Makes me won't to strip my 106 gti engine down! But feeling if do a good service & get the head port & polish skimed then slap a new head gasket on & bobs ya teapot! 🤔
Gordon is a legend !! Loving these videos Adam
One of your best videos, being an engineering type and a cossy owner, very engaging and informative. Certainly do not cut any out.
Great video! Looking forward to this build!
Adam you really need to do more videos with Gordon he is very knowledgeable on engine work.
Great video better than anything on the TV
Great service at Dunston. They done a yamaha jet ski cylinder head for me a few years back. Its had countless hard work over the years and its stood up to everything tbrown at it. Still going strong
Eyup bro gotta say you have a really understanding wife.
Really enjoyed watching that like great content Adam. Gordon knows his stuff very knowledgeable guy. Cant wait for the future videos to see the engine in a car what a journey it will be 👌🏻
Excellent content mate. Keep making the long videos, I dont even notice the time passing. Gordon is the man
I always dread clicking on this guys videos as I always end up feeling stressed and like I've lost loads of money even though I've not bought the car just seem to always get that feeling 🤯
Brilliant vid Adam love this sort of stuff!!
I bought a thermal arc ac/dc tig welder years ago. Would not be without it.
Looking good, Rome was never going to be a one day job ! Stay with it !
I absolutely know nothing about rebuilding engines but I really enjoyed this video 😂
this is interesting no matter how long the video is great video
Great to see and hear the detail on this
Really liking this format, love to learn whilst being entertained.
That was very interesting mate that bloke is amazing great video pall keep it up and looking forward two next one
Great video, always good to see how engines are refurbed. Keep up great work man, looking forward to next one
Class video Adam love watching these. Looking forward to pt2
Great video on the cyinder head and amazed on the two bent values you found
You started down the power addiction road , there is no stopping now , it's mever ending , you will have to ring the samaritans to get help getting off the tuning merry go round.
Great video mate. Gordon’s a genius, pulled me out the shit a few times now
Really good video mate, hour long was spot on 👍🏻
Awesome video Adam absolutely fascinating to watch my man 👍
Nice one this Adam top cossie content 👌🏼that man knows his way around a yb
Always gonna be a good watch when with Gordon....proper old school master at his trade!! Wonder if Barum Engines are watching this?
Love this type of video very interesting and knowledgeable fella
Fantastic content, loved every minute of it 👍
time serts are 100% better than helicoils, I replaced all the 6mm cam shafts threads with these. but as anal as I am I tapped all holes and did the counter bore on the Bridgeport so I could guarantee they were dead square. I've been a toolmaker for over 40 years but I still prefer not to tap by hand if I can help it. Love Gordons work shop, takes me back.
Nice video Adam very interesting looking forward to seeing the second part
Fascinating work. Cheers
Watching whilst in japan Gordon is a genius
I'm at the age i can remember a lot of garages and similar had skilled men like Gordon he's a dying breed replaced by laptop blue glove technicians .
Why do you not want to put this engine into your three door?it's going to be a better engine than what is in there now,you can the re build that engine also, bit of a waste of money building another car,you will never use the other two then, cars are made to be driven,if you leave them to sit you start getting problems with the engine brakes rust up bearings dry up petrol goes hard in the system.
Another great video really carnt beat old skool engineering look forward to part 2 👍🏻👍🏻
Brilliant, pure art 😊
Great video mate along with the Paul Linfoot stuff it really is gold ❤
30 min video's are great,if you have 45 min video you can do the whole 45 or split into two.
I wish there was a place like this Near Liverpool I could use for my engines
Longer all day mate class video
Always good to see a video however long it’s on matey 👌🏻
Great video it’s very interesting how the cosworths are rebuilt and the parts used nowadays compared when I owned these cars thirty years ago Like bmw piston oil jets in the block and not longer wire ring the piston as the victor, Ryan head caskets are so good now That’s years of learning on these type of engines
Brilliant video as always mate.
Excellent video and amazing workmanship, can’t believe all these techniques and engine building methods will be obsolete with all the electric stuff ruining things 🙄
It's great the guys let you do the filming 👍
Cracking video!
Interesting video Adam 🇦🇺
I used them steel inserts on my N47 bmw engine when the glow plug snapped in the head good bit of kit
Looking forward too part 2
Great video.there a dying breed like Gordon. Where be few years when he retires no one teaches out .some engine are rubbish there silicone together. How much cost know Adam that engine .
good video ,very interesting as i work in a machinre shop myself
There's allsorts used for valve seats, cobalt, chromium, nickel, stellite and copper alloy steels. Depends on intake/exhaust and fuel types/temps and what the head is made from.
Great video
Engineering is awesome just wish the Uk made more 👍
Great video Adam plenty of good content love a long video means I don’t have to watch the rubbish the wife is watching on TV 😂😂👍
Brilliant channel 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇬🇧
Great vid yet again Adam i was hoping you wa going to stick the engine in a fiesta then you would have the complete Ford line up, But now looking forward to another Escort Rally well done
Cool vid!
Loving this video, really interesting, but split them down into 3 x 20 minutes please
AMAZING
Fair play adam I have no idea what I've just watched well above my brain 😅
Cossie Crazy!😁
Great watch that mate
For tapping anything critical like cap studs I put tap in pillar drill then turn chuck by hand a few turns to get it started then finnish by hand, always worried I'll get it wrong and shear tap.
top content
Gordon rocks
I can see how a lot of engines can get messed up if people who don’t really know what they’re doing mess with them - there’s probably a lot botched engines out there
🇮🇲🇮🇲🇮🇲👍👍what an insight top notch 👍👍🇮🇲🇮🇲🇮🇲
Yessssssssssss
I would put it in s cavalier saloon mate with btcc liveries would be mint
New video!
I went to hot water beach in nz it had 2 springs on the beach one was 62 degrees other 64. So ye can bath in 64 degree water after 20 min ye just jump in the sea to cool down. Best place I've ever been stayed a few extra days cos of it. Some useless info for ya.
