Hi!! How you doing? I was just wondering, what you do to tie your hair up at night after your wash and go?? Do you leave it out or do you twist it up or do you braid it up before you go to bed at night to keep the curls??

Thanks for posting the following video... I have to admit I was stuck on hair type for so long especially when I made the decision to go natural about 1yr and 6 months ago. I've tried to do a wash n' go (recently) and the results haven't been what I was expecting. Lord, during the transitioning stage my hair styles were not up to par... hell there were days when I didn't even want to go to work (amen) because I wasn't happy with my hair. I know now looking back that it was a learning curve and I needed to be patient... now that I'm over the "ugly stage" as I call it with my hair, I am taking more risks and opportunities. I was researching products etc etc etc looking for what worked well with my hair, and during this process I realized I needed to pay attention to my hair porosity rather than hair type. I believe I'm in the middle and that I'm low/medium porosity. Pardon the long comment, thanks again for posting.

I do put my main products in while hair is soaking wet in the shower. Then when it is drying and is just a little damp, I add my final product especially to my ends, to be sure there's no frizz. But, just as said in the video, different methods work for different people. My sister does her wash and go after the shower on damp hair using new Shea Moisture Wash and Go products...magical!!!!

Last summer I told myself I was going to learn how to master a WNG and baby now I can’t stop! I have dense, kinky coily hair. I like a more tamed look so I take smooth and shingle my hair for max definition. But when I want a more fluffy voluminous I do the praying hair method. It’s all about how you want it to look like also. I started getting those roots and baby game changer! That and adding your leave in in the shower.

It’s funny because I was hoping my curls was was like Bianca Renee... and they are not... but for the LONGEST time I could not figure out a damn wash and go. I couldn’t figure out how people be having a wash and go last for days, now I get it. Your technique and gel are every thing! Another thing I think really helps is ‘training’ your hair. If you are straightening your hair on a regular basis, it messes with the hair routine or your hairs memory to do what you want it to do. Like sending yo kid to they daddy house and you get them back and they act like they don’t know bedtime is 9 o’clock! Ok! Stick with it. If it don’t turn out go back to your trusty and predictable twist out,lol

Your hair is as crazy like mine Rayna😅👍👍 beautiful but crazy different textures the difference is you got it under control 100% and I'm still working on it😅😂 thank you so much for the tips I think I'm going to try that denman brush I'm afraid because I'm dealing with hair loss/ shedding

My only issue with my wash n go's is that my hair be hair be hard as hell when it drys. I tired breaking the cast with oil and it don't break. Lol I get kind of nervous to use a blow dryer at the moment because my hair is still kind of short and I want to keep the definition. I became a twist out girl recently and love it! I'll try wash in go's later maybe again when my hair gets longer.

I'm a wash and go gal.. nice tips!!. I get the best wash and go with UpNorth naturals 8 oil gelly. So bomb!. Just tried a new curl cream with it, curly chic and it worked great. Also used the Mane choice leave in- just to use it up, but its softening so I like it.

I tried a wash and go for the second time and it was fantastic because i followed your method 👌🏾👌🏾 but i still don't have a blow dryer for stretching so i don't know if i will buy one. Your method makes the wash and go so easy for me 😊 i always like to switch it up but it's nice to have another go to style i can depend on

I’ve never attempted a wash and go for fear that my hair will tangle. So I do twists in my hair and I keep it twisted. I put a wig on top of it. Thanks for sharing these tips.
