My 5 notebook system for planning, peace of mind, & pursuing creative passions

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I've finally pieced together my ultimate notebook planner system for peace of mind, organization, journaling, commonplace, creative writing, and therapeutic brain dumping as someone who wants to do it all without going crazy. It combines pocket notebooks and an A6 daily planner for flexible combinations of topics/categories. You can probably make use of this system with the stationary you already own. PS: it's neurodivergent-friendly.

Thanks for this very original yet valuable video! I have and use notebooks and find them very valuable. I always have a few notebooks going for different reasons and I never knew I was commonplacing...never even heard the term. now I know thanks! One of my top travel tips is to bring a travel journal and write whatever you want in it...its just good to have a place to doodle if you dont want to journal BUT on the very first page i put the schedule. on the second page I put all the numerology for the country im visiting in my own way of spelling the correct way to say the word...this helps a lot with negotiating bc people will talk with you if you know numbers. On the very last page I put common phrases like, hello, good day, thank you, etc. I keep these journals and now I have a bookcase filled with previous versions of me untangling travel obstacles and learning new languages and they are super fun to flip through. Thanks again!

You are spot on with writing down your thoughts to help process them and/or sort them out. Had to do that not too long ago. Cleared my mind up and made things clear for me to see. I haven't acted on deciding what to do just yet, but that's a matter of time and persuasion I guess.

I'm more of a digital list left-brain kind of guy, but I enjoyed listening to your thoughts on your system 👍

Thanks Meghan, I’ve been using a stripped down version of Ryder Carroll’s Bullet Journal system in a dot grid leuchtturm1917. That journal is a commitment I don’t always feel like carrying, so I supplemented with Field Notes that I always have on me.
