My 5 ingredient cookies that went VIRAL on TikTok
These 5-ingredient vegan peanut butter chocolate chip cookies became a sensation on TikTok! After a day of uploading, it reached about 750k views and celebrities like Francesca Farago commenting on how good they looked. I thought I just had to share them with my KZread family too 💚
First of all, yes I know, it's a lot of sugar. You can always just add a little less, or substitute it for a healthier option like date purée or coconut sugar.
Second of all YES a banana really works as an egg replacement! However I noticed there are a lot of people who just don't like bananas 😅 So if you would like to replace it, use a flax egg instead (3 tbsp ground flaxseed + 5 tbsp water) OR 1/4 cup apple sauce.

Can you freeze any remaining batter?

Absolutely! I freeze my batters all the time. Just scoop out the batter first with a cookie scoop and freeze them in ball form so they take less time to defrost when you're ready to use it!
Can you substitute with another type of nut butter?

Absolutely! Sunflower seed butter and almond butter work great! I haven't tried with other nut butters but people have told me cookie butter also works well too
would you happen to know how many calories in one cookie?

This is so funny because you commented this right as I'm making them... 😅😳😂 I actually don't have an idea how many calories are in this... I don't ever count my calories so I didn't think to calculate them

So funny because that's probably the most asked question on the TikTok video 😂 you can taste a hint of the banana, but it pairs so well with the peanut butter! If you don't like bananas though, you can always sub it out for a flax egg (3 tbsp ground flaxseed + 5 tbsp water) or even 1/4 cup apple sauce 😊

Thank you for answering. I’m craving cookies and easy ways to make them but I don’t wanna taste too much banana. But since it pairs well with the peanut butter I’ll give it a try.
