I bought Jennifer’s (porcelynne) bra drafting book. Absolutely amazing!! She really really knows how to explain how to put a bra together, how and what modifications to make and how to get the perfect fit.

Oooh, this is great information. I just finished my 4th Black Beauty and am looking to try something new. I'm heading over to Porcelynne to check out her "choose your own bra adventure" lol.

This was a fun video. I think we all assumed Black Beauty would be number 1. ;)

Do you think it makes sense to buy the afi atelier exquisite pattern if I already have the black beauty?

Liz, I keep hearing that the strap should be above the apex, but I can find a bra pattern like that. I'm 31" under bust, and about a C D cup. Thank you

It’s a crescent shaped piece on the outside edge (underarm edge) of the cup. It’s supposed to help push stuff more front and center

What’s the best way to figure out what your ideal wire size is? It seems like knowing your best write size and going from there is the best way to get a good fit.

Do more cup pieces tend to translate to more projection? Like, is a bra with 4 cup pieces going to have more projection than a bra with 2? I'm like you in that I'm quite shallow with a wide root.

More pieces = rounder shape. In general the bigger you are you need more pattern pieces to get a good shape but small girls can go either way
