I'm literally amazed at what a beautiful home you have at such a price! You're never going to find anything so beautiful, so modern and so comfortable at that price either in Italy or the USA, even if you go to the furthest outreaches of the forest, mountain or desert. I really like your videos and can see that you're a fine young man, very intelligent and filled with a sincere desire to tell others about Turkey, its people, language, culture and history. I've had this same desire since my teenage years: to learn more about your fabulous country. I'm trying to learn some Turkish language too, but it's going to take some time for an almost 62 year old like me! But I want to and you're doing a great job online with your videos. Keep up the good work and I hope one day to come to Turkey and maybe even meet you. Thanks 👍😊

Fun fact: The reason why in America kitchens and living rooms are usually connected is because we generally don't cook as much as turks. And if we cook, we cook easy things like Mac n Cheese, which is easy to do and doesn't really smell. In Islamic countries however, they usually prefer separate kitchens, since they have a huge food culture and always cook a bunch of food :)

Actually food and cooking became entertainment with the advent of cable tv. People are not shy about cooking around their guests so don’t mind if people watch. People also watch cooking in their spare time so seeing someone cook for them is no big deal. It was fine outside with the BBQ years before. Also easier to watch the kids while making dinner after getting home from work.

Should have explained what Kolonya is mate.. lol the word comes from cologne basically. It's a sort of cologne that will be offered to guests etc. You'll get a liberal pour into your palms and then kinda wash your hands with it. It's very strongly alcoholic so also works as a hand sanitizer or to disinfect small woulds or whatever. The traditional smells are lemon or tobacco (it sounds weird but smells incredible, not like cigarettes or something lol). It's usually offered to guests when they first come in also after dinner or something. If someone faints or doesn't feel well they also hold it under their nose since it opens up the sinuses and kinda works like a smelling salt. the smell is strong but subtle, and it fades rather quickly. It's not meant to function as a perfume etc but more as a pleasant smelling hand sanitizer

I see I am already subscribed, but this video popped up because I was searching for a Turkish friend who can tell me more about life, language and culture in Turkey. I have become addicted to Turkish series with English subs on KZread (my hearing is not good and I love the subs though the translations are sometimes a little puzzling - lol). I know the life on the series is somewhat exaggerated and I would like to know a bit more about "normal" life there in Turkey. Your home is very western, but then so much in Turkey is very western in outlook it seems.

My friends and brothers, my mother is sick with cancer. I am a mother of a baby girl. I do not have a place to live, even a room. If you can help me for my baby girl, I am in desperate need of your help. Please respond. Please can your help be a reason to save a girl’s and her mother’s life from the hardships of life. Please do not embarrass me after the response.😔

Beautiful home. Moving in your town it seems you live in north and probably cold in winter. We live in Canada and tired of cold and snow we would prefer somewhere hot or at least warm. Nice video. Thanks for sharing

Beautiful place …. Love the cleanliness and the way you have organized. I too love Istanbul. Live in Los Angeles now but love to visit Istanbul. The culture , people and everything watching the “youtube “gives me a high. Like to come and rent a place to immerse in this historic land.

Thank you for sharing your home, it was a very well made video. I appreciated you showing all aspects of your home. I especially like your “Americanized“ kitchen, as I did not know they did this in your country, so that was a surprise. Thank you again
