The reason you want to up date fuel map is not just for power. Bikes from factory are leaned out to meet emissions laws. You change things for intake or exhaust to flow better the engine goes even leaner. lean engines create more heat, heat causes problems.

I never thought that it is possible to become addicted to a thing. And now I am so sorry for people that do not know what real adventure riding, esp. on a T7 mean. Maybe I need some special therapy :) I would never thought that something can be as good as ... no I will not say that. I love riding T7...long trips, I am quite complete while doing this, I am willing to take my son with me, esp. when he is so into geography,. I am expecting a really good time.

You can get a quickshifter from Yamaha for the '23 T7 and onwards. I installed an aftermarket Healthech quickshifter on my T7 World Raid and love it. Also put a Kaoko throttle lock on it for the long ride, which migates a cruise control.

Does your quick shifter work in both directions? Up and down. The factory Yamaha only works with up shifting. 😢

@@R32Viper just type in on revzilla for 2023 Yamaha Tenere…it’ll fit the 2024. Mine is a 2024. When I was building most of the bike, I bought everything for a 2023 since companies didn’t confirm if it fit a 2024 yet. But there’s no changes except the signals and display.

@@eriksforestryvision8751it’s still fun, I still have it. It’s just a different type of fun. I like being more off-road than I do on road. Which is why I choose the T7 for a fun fun time. 😂 the only thing I hate is that it takes time and miles to get to the off road spots

Beautiful bike, and about being impatient, at least you got to work on the bike and got to know it. Oh and you should look into a doing a proper dyno tuning session. That full system should be tuned proper, you'll end up with better fuel economy and lower temperatures.

No, none at all…that’s what it’s made for. Although it is heavy, and the suspension is not set up for harsh off roading. I actually just took off roading today and it did great. No problems at all. But it definitely needs after market suspension.
