If that Volkswagen is tuned on e85, that’s a huge bump in power over stock especially being turbo. They can raise the boost a lot on e85. Anytime you tune something on e85 it’s a big difference. And those cars aren’t slow to begin with these days. I’m sure that car was pushing 400hp

I am sure it has been commented already. The VW E888 2.0t 4cyl engine is a robust little 4cyl, especially this new 4th gen found in the Golf R, VW Arteon, Audi S3. On an E85 tune with supporting mods they can easily push 500hp, 400+tq safely. Power to weight, AWD and a fast shifting 7 speed DSG are the key to their ability to be made fairly quick easily. $48/$49,000 for the car and 5k in mods you have a fairly quick daily driver.

Nothing compared to the actual Stage 1, Stage 2, or E tunes. I do not normally street race ect... too old for that mess. One night 3am ish on my way back from a trip, empty highway. A new (at the time, like a 2020) 5.0 Mustang kept trying to race me (highway was absolutely empty). I kept waving him off, honestly I did not want to race, tired, 3am, dark ect.... Guy was relentless in trying so, I gave him thumbs up slowing to 30ish and by 12_ mph I was 4+ car lengths on him. I plan on getting one at some point. I wouldn't use it for street racing, but just as a fun weekend car to take to car meets and that sort of thing. The new Mustang is not really meant for street racing and will do you no good at least with the automatic transmission, but if you just use it for the weekend to take to meets, you should be fine.

Great video. Drove a 24 GT last week and if felt slow compared to my Scat Pack Charger. Seems to have much less torque.

Yes, if you drove a 10 speed, They really have no torque…You have to ring out to redline, to get any power! That’s how these engine’s work. They do like to redline as they do have top end power. You have to drive it like a Honda Si, red line the Sh*t out of it!

Those GTI's respond to E very well, he definitely had an advantage and if he is stage 2, E, with mods he's probably mid 300whp. My FBO Mk7 dsg on pump 93 made 318whp

Dude an intake and just a tune on a gti is a lot more power than you would think. My 08 gti with a downpipe and a tune unleashed 150hp also they are lighter I believe. The gt has so much more potential stock vs stock the gt wins so this race doesn’t really turn me off the gt just goes to show when you tune a turbo 4cylinder it unleashes hella power

The new mustang has a slower tune on it from factory. It just needs to be woken up over time, some bolt on parts Corsa exhaust system, and it will be fast !! that 480 HP with the proper bolt on modifications will make it quicker, maybe an LMR project in the future if you do keep it for a while? Or do they only specify in LS powered vehicles?? Ah hell i just looked it up after i commented and edited my post, it has an encrypted tune so it will be awhile before someone breaks it open for tunes.. Damn !

THE S650'S have a 300 mile breakin and it most likely has 87 in the tank. after you get passed 300 miles on the car pump some 93 into her and get another run with the gti. alot of guys have dynoed the s650 while under 300 miles and they only made about 400whp but after the 300 miles and youget some 93 in them they'll make around 420whp which should be enough for that gti

What is the rev limit on the 2024 Mustang GT? The upgrades don't end there as the engine sports strengthened camshafts for improved track durability and extended operation near its 7,500 rpm redline. The end result is the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 engine in a non-Shelby Mustang yet.
