My 2024 Money Goals To Get Ahead Financially
It's a new year and that means new financial goals! These are my financial goals for the new year.
After thinking about it for a while I decided to set more realistic goals and not over commit myself. I also plan to work on my goals differently in the new year vs how I did it in 2023.
My financial goals:

What are your financial goals for 2024?

Pay off house early on Sept 2024. A total of 7 years out of a 30 year mortgage @ 4%.
My husband and I are recently retired and living a great life with a completely paid off mortgage. I made the decision many years ago to pay off our mortgage early; my husband disagreed believing putting the money into our brokerage account made more sense. The math might have agreed with him but in my heart, I knew heading into retirement completely debt free was the way to go for my sanity! Once our mortgage was paid off, we were very deliberate in funding retirement accounts, so I consider our decision a win-win. Living debt free is the best feeling. Good luck with your goals.
I plan to build a emergency fund and pay down credit card debt for my 2024 goals.
My goals for 2024 are: Finish paying off debt ($8K), fully fund Roth IRA, increase emergency fund to 6 months, and save for Alaska Cruise planned for 2025

I have lofty financial goals for 2024 😂, I’ll be posting a video soon about them but who knows how much I will actually achieve 😂 but it’s fun aiming for the stars. 2024 Goals 1) Max 401K 2) Max ROTH IRA 3) Max HSA 4) 6K to 529 Plan 5) 45K to Brokerage Account 6) 25K to the mortgage

My financial goals are to max out my Roth IRA and be better at balancing giving, saving, and spending.
Fully fund my Roth, then take my mother on a cruise are my 2024 goals

My first goal is getting a reliable part time job that generates an extra $500 every month. Saving in my HYSA and towards Roth. I cant max my roth yet but maybe in the future

My goals are to pay in cash for a dental implant and accompanying oral surgery (bleh), to pay off my student loans (about 5.7k left) and then to hopefully fully fund my Roth IRA if possible
