That's huge toe out. I've got steel balls in TLR Arrma, trying to get aluminum or titanium, less unsprung weight.

Can you make a video talking more about "zero rebound" shock setup? I thought that the faster your rebound was the better your car handles ruts and bumps.

Are all the hw pro drivers changing to the 2200kv from the 1900kv motors

3 questions ... #1 how do you find running the 2 shorty packs instead of 2 stick packs? #2 I have shorty's for my 1/10 scale and just got a 1/8 buggy ... i wasn't sure if shorty's would be able to power the vehicle (minimum C rating)? #3 How is the left to right weight bias? I have a Hobbywing XR8 SCT ESC and find that it along with servo and receiver is a lot lighter than the motor on the other side?

I really like the way the car feels with the shorty packs, the car seems more balanced. I use the Protek HV 6100 batteries and have had zero issues with run time or power. The HW ESC is very light now, but I run the MKS 599 servo with all metal case and titanium gears and it is a little heavier. Even though the motor is slightly heavier, I don't think there is any performance disadvantage. If you are concerned about it you can add a little extra weight on the other side.

How many chassis do you use a year as a pro driver? New for every big event?
@paulciccarello8180
3 жыл бұрын
The Xray chassis last a long time. I built my new car in May 2020 and just changed it for DNC this year. Ty may change it more often but for sure not a new one every race. We run the same car all season and just replace parts as necessary.

The chassis are made of super hard, high quality aluminum so they last a very long time, I run my practice car at least 10 gallon over the summer on the same chassis.

I will actually be posting a couple videos very soon on the Hot Race tires, there is a lot of information to give so I purposely left them out of this video, and did separate videos for the tires.
