my 97 Blazer is ready to hit 199,000. I've maintained it since 88k. It's 2 door Ls 4x4 4.3 v6 vortec and runs like new. Just having a sunroof leak since my Mom owned it she went to an automatic car wash and when the brush rolled across the sunroof it made a pop noise and now leaks. Then she sold it me! LOL At heart I'm a Ford girl. Don't tell my Chevy cause I like it too.... But ANYWAY ......Safe travels Kyle!!! and may you see 1000's of more miles! :-)

you made an excellent choice with the Genesis Coupe, we had an '88 Excel Hatchback that was bought new. We Traded that car for a '90 Bonneville. then we sold the Bonneville to someone and they misread the Title and almost took my '98 Plymouth!

got the 2011 2.0t premium br stage 2 and love it no prob at all since 3 year and 54000 km (around 33 750 miles)

so close no matter how far couldn't be much more from the heart Forever trusting who we are And nothing else matters!

I just got a 2011 Infiniti G37 sedan about 5 months ago. Great car, fantastic engine and excellent chasis. But now i hear about a new 2013 Genesis coupe coming out, i do feel a little cringe in my heart. I have to admit, the Hyundai is much better value for money if you can get past the badge. Fantastic car you got here mate, love the reviews. =)

I love the Genesis Coupe! Much better than your old Lexus ES thing. Do you ever get the tail loose? This car looks like it would do some crazy donuts if the traction control was turned off.

Like the chestnut leather it looks nice with the white paint. definitely way better then the old Hyundai's. they have really been improving lately

yeah thats a real good start. possibly a catback exhaust when you get the fundage. Save the tune until you have all your bolt on mods done. I'm sure there are Genesis forums online that'll help you out :)

Nice video Kyle! Can you tell me something about the average fuel consumption? On highway cruise and with city driving. The Genesis is about to arrive in the Netherlands and I'm thinking about buying it. I prefer the 3.8 V6 over the 2.0 Turbo because of the little differences in factory fuel economy. Here in Holland the fuel prices are really high, you really don't want to know what we pay to fill up our cars! Thanks, bye!

Wassup bro . I was test driving a 2010 2.0 T genesis 2 days ago and it was clean inside and out but when I stopped at a red light there was a noticeable idling/ vibrating noise from the steering wheel . It had 45,000 miles on it plz help.

@Saabkyle04 does it auto shift down in sport mode, or do u have to downshift?

I wish Hyundai would put the shift paddles on the column instead of the wheel like they do. I like to know where they are at all times without having to hunt for them if you are flying through turns/corners.

@Saabkyle04: it was 2010 genesis 3.6 vs WRX 09 5d, I picked the wrx. Love the AWD, Turbo and the additionnal space. Genesis was nice, but not functional enough and definitely not a reliable 4 season car. Did you consider the WRX?

my 2011 R-spec 3.8 doesn't have what seems to be multi gauges in the center on the blue screen. Does that only come with the touring package or sound package? On mine the blue screen is just a clock or when I am playing music it just has the name of the song, artist, and album or if i listen to the radio the radio staion.

Looks like the Genesis held up well. I only put about 16,000 kms or around 10,000 miles a year on my 00 Maxima but it sees a lot more city abuse than open freeway.

Does it have a rev limiter? The rev limiter in my '95 Taurus SHO does not let it rev past 4k rpm's in park and neutral. PS - Can you do an in depth tour of a '89 - 95 Taurus SHO.....if you find one. :)

You should post a video of this car accelerating in a tunnel! That would be really awesome

The 2.0T can be tuned further. You can't tune a turbo though. When you get a tune, what you do is mess with the cars computer. You can adjust the timing and air/fuel mixture. Sometimes you can add more boost. The 3.8 which is what kyle has, doesnt have a turbo.

i do have a question im looking at getting a 2010 with just over 48,000 miles for 18 grand is that a good deal or keep on looking

Hey I got a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon Gt Manual has a cold air intake and exaust thinking thats about 30hp between the both so prob like 200hp total, dosent feel it tho, but thinking bout putting a turbo in it what do you think?

@PantstofryPWNZ Wow, glad you asked me that cuz my mom has a 09 Subaru Legacy 3.0R. I can tell you that car's AWD is amazing in the snow along with it's viscous coupling rear diff, you slide all day long in control. My G however does lack a bit of suspension/road feedback when I drive it hard. But keep in mind the G is much more powerful and comfortable. If you were to get the Subie, go for the turbocharged ones. Much better, trust me.
