Most common problem with Nissan's That I found was the distributor coils going bad. That will cause all the problems you have. There are 2 coils one looks like a small box ( you can see it on the distributor ) The other is inside the distributor cap.

Hey mate, the old NP relay is clicking when replaced it or not? Same thing happen to my 01 Pathfinder. Sometimes it doesn’t crank and for how many tries of turning the engine cranks and start. But every time I turn it off same story. And I checked that NP relay is clicking so I didn’t bother to replace it. Or maybe I should replaced it even if it is clicking.

I am having that same problem are you sure because II went to make the keys get made and I’m thinking maybe it’s the keys but it does it on and off it’s not consistent

Kind of a dumb question but how do those relays release/come out? Seem really stuck don't want to break anything. Thanks

They are pretty tough. I don't remember exactly where the tabs are to release them, but keep at it.

How to remove the N-P relay I posted in the lock in but I can't remove it?

Hey Boss, I got a problem by washing engine and automatic transmission! No any code on scanner. It is a Nissan pathfinder 1998 3L v6 petrol The car drives but change to second gear at 5k RPM ! Any help and advice please??? 🙏
