More great advice Sarah. Thank you. I'm just starting out on my print on demand business and I'm following your advice about niche and products. I've set my sights quite low in terms of making money - not sure if that's a good thing - but I'm hoping that the audience for my niche will feel as passionate about my products as I am. My biggest problem so far - which is taking weeks to resolve - is getting Facebook to resolve an issue with the pixel. I've got to the stage where they've actually said that I should create a new domain in order to solve the problem! Yes, seriously, they expect me to abandon the domain name I've purchased along with all the products on the site I've spent weeks designing and creating in order to solve a problem with their software. It looks like I'm going to have to abandon any ideas of using Facebook Ads, but I'll keep trying. Thanks again for the advice. I always enjoy your videos and looking forward to more dancing!

Hey, love the video. I’ve watched quite a lot of them over the past year. I’m curious how you would handle getting flagged by RB for using copyrighted content? I’ve made several simple designs and followed a lot of your guides on how to create without stealing work(Basically I use circles/squares/triangles to make fun geometric designs. No text, images, or anything else that could be copyrighted) but I’ve gotten an account banned on two separate occasions. I’ve submitted an appeal request, but both times I don’t hear back after two weeks and end up loosing the chance to appeal. How would you go about avoiding this? Thanks! Again, love the video ❤️❤️

I always add subtitles to my videos. If you can't see them by default, there is a little settings wheel icon you can click to turn them on manually!

Thanks for the tips Earlyn. I have a Facebook fanpage where I upload some helpful posts for free. Part of my traffic comes from there as well Facebook seems to be a good source of traffic, but not a realible one. I might have my account blocked even following all their policies. In this case, I would need some contingency plan to keep my business running (not sure how to build one) So recently I decided to focus on KZread Ads, but my CPA is too high even after three months of campaign running and 31 sales made Maybe Facebook algorithm would optimize my campaign faster and allow me to do better segmentation. That is why I am in doubt of which one to invest my time and money

Hey Sarah I want to start P.o.d but i'm stuck on understanding how a design can be taken down specifically regarding trademarked invididual words. It's easy to understand copyright and easy to understand how to chk phrases. But for example the word "rose" is trademarked and i'm struggling to find out how excactly a design could be removed if it containted the word rose? Can it be removed if it appears as part of a phrase on the t-shirt or part of the title or as a keyword etc which is it? Or is it all of them? Can a trademarked word like rose be used as part of the description for example? I've seen people not put in descriptions to avoid trademarked words etc.

The process for printing onto black is different (it has to be) but it doesn't matter. Black t-shirts of this issue remain the most popular with customers regardless of any issues that it can cause. If it impacted sales then black t-shirts would not have remained the most popular color for the past several decades! Definitely offer your t-shirts in black if the design allows for it, it is the most popular color.

There are many different websites & apps that can be used to start a POD business/store, and many of them are free. There are no extra costs if you like in Latin America. I recommend watching this video, choosing which website interests you the most, and then checking their Terms Of Service to confirm that your local country is supported. Haha thank you! 🌞 If it is a product you are dropshipping, then another way to consider expanding your sales it to combine Shopify + TikTok. If you are instead doing Print On Demand, Etsy is a great option. You can't dropship on Etsy, but you can do POD with Etsy.

Etsy suspended my less than a week old account that I haven't listed anything yet and was setting it up without any reason :( I was so excited to start something on the side after watching your videos. I was checking for copyrights and trademarks for everything I used. I am still waiting a response from their team but not so hopeful. Guess it is over before it started.

Etsy wants stores to have at least 1 item for sale. They don't want dead stores. That is why in my tutorial, I immediately added a real product for sale (and deleted the dummy one I set up ASAP). Because you had an empty account, it will have been closed. I recommend trying again but this time, set up your store when you have an actual product to sell. If your second account gets banned, due to the first account causing red flags, just email them. 99% Of bans occur due to mistakes and almost everyone who has commented on my channel saying they got auto-banned by Etsy, who then followed my recommendation to appeal the ban, got it overturned. So a ban on Etsy is far from it "being over before it starts"! :)
