If you ordered the kit new, it should have given you the option to choose between the 2.5" or 3.0" collector at the mid pipe. If you ordered the 3" collector, then you may have to get new connectors welded on but im not sure about that tbh.

  • @aliostad2268

  • @loscar5oh

@Ali Ostad ok, so when choosing the x pipe size, it gives two options. The options are 3"x2.5" or 3"x3". If you get the 2.5" bassani catback then choose the 3"x2.5". If you get the 3" bassani catback then choose the 3"x3" option. The x pipe itself is 3", but the collector is what changes in size depending on the size catback you will use. I hope this helps.

If you need to get these apart down the road to take the off road legs off and add cats for inspection (if they have that in your state) just use liquid wrench or wd 40, spray it in the split where the pipes meet and they come off with a little bit of wiggling, sometimes with the persuasion of a rubber mallet but normally the wd 40 or liquid wrench in the split does the trick. Without it, you'll never get them off.

I am really wanting to get arh long tubes and off road x pipe for my 2013 5.0 and was wondering about some things. First off, how bad is the smell with the catless setup? I'll be running the corsa extreme axle back, factory over axle pipes, and factory resonators. Would the resonators and corsa extremes eliminate some of the catless smell? Second, the sound, how loud is it really? I have done my research and listened to videos on youtube and really like the sound, but it's hard to tell how loud it really is over youtube you know. Since I daily my 5.0 I don't want to regret going catless you know. Third, the obdll sensors, would the tune get rid of the check engine light that comes on after going catless? Lastly, inspection/emissions. I also live in Texas, the montgomery county area which requires emmsions. Would I just be able to drive to a neighboring county that doesn't require emissions to get it inspected? Also, have you had any problems with getting your inspection sticker at all? Thanks in advance for your or anyone's answers!

Very nice, I had a 13" gt myself. Going to a catless setup you will still smell some fumes but not as compared to an off road setup. I had arh headers mated onto a corsa xtreme catback on my 2015 mustang gt. I also had cats on it. The setup was honestly super loud. Inside the car wasn't bad at all but cold starts were the worst. I later switch to the corsa sport catback and that was the best decision I made. If your daily your car then I highly suggest you get the corsa sports over the xtreme. Now, your using your factory resonators which will definitely help tone down the volume. But as far as smell, the resonators don't eliminate that. The smell won't be bad at all honestly. As far as emissions, you should be able to pass with having those hi Flo cats from ARH. Good luck man and thanks for watching my video 🙌🏻

I had to tap a small dent in one of the primary tubes for clearance. Also, the EGR tubing was a chore. They otherwise fit great. Man, that was big job to do on the garage floor. The headers made my car quieter surprisingly. I'm guessing the velocities are lower??

You won't regret it man. It's one of the best mods I've done. As far as the primary size, my tuner reccomend I go with 1 3/4". He said anything bigger than that wouldn't be necessary. I don't think there's a huge advantage. It may make a difference if you were making big power like 1k to wheels.
