This song is so unique, I always come back to it! After 10 years of being alone sometimes I get lonely and this song kinda captures that feel. A mix of fearing to form an attachment because I might get hurt, and because I think I can't be good enough for my partner. crippling... after a night with this song it feels better tho

I kinda get the impression from the video, especially with the images of medical xrays in the background, and some of the lyrics that what we're seeing/hearing are the thoughts of someone who is both lonely and dying. I feel like this person is dying (possibly from suicide) and in their final moments are having warm and vivid fantasies of a happy life that could have been with some random person that they remembered from seeing them in a crowd. They're imagining a "happily ever after" scenario projected on some random face they fancied.

There have been so many days I have this on repeat.... and only this. Love this song so much, it was my #2 most played in 2020. It’s truly helped me get through so much
