The MW2 2022 reloads are way more fast and agressive (by this i mean the way they cock the gun by hitting it with their hands when in old mw2 the character just taps the gun instead of hitting it)

@@WadeGoku guns don't have this much recoil in real life, once you start shooting in this game you literally can't see anything though iron sights due to all the smoke and bs cluttering the screen. In real life none of this weird fake recoil occurs.

The OG sounds are more movie-like satisfying, whereas the RM is more realistic -satisfying

I love how casual and fluid the original reload animations are. Like they’ve done it a million times and their comfort and familiarity with their gun couldn’t be greater.

It's obviously better realism but in a game the sounds should be pleasing on your ears above all else. Apex legends and Titanfall 2 did this really well and same with modern warfare 2008

MW2 was great when it came out and still stands proudly but compared to a modern game like MW2 2022, it gets stomped on. MW2 2022 has way more attachments, detail, better animations, better graphics. Nostalgia is the only thing that it lacks since it’s obviously new, but that really doesn’t matter in this scenario.

It doesn’t matter what mw2 2009 brings to the table or m2 2022 does either, it’s what the design quality of the games are and how it changed over the years. @R i dont know If you're saying about animations, but i suppose you're saying about it, If that's the case, yes It already happened on MW2019 beta, some gun animations was a little bit modified between the Full release and the beta, you can tell by comparing m4 reload(partial) from beta and Full release, not much different but still(you need to really pay attention but you can repare that the full release m4's partial reload is punchier than beta's one)

Animation wise from a realism standpoint? New MW2 for sure. But cmon…seeing the OG M16 load was so smooth it’s make you bust mid match. Actual animation bliss

Even loving the OG MW2 dearly it's no contest, the animations in the newer games get even the tiny details right like the magazine catch on the M4 protrudes slightly as the magazine is inserted and then snaps into its slot on the magazine once fully inserted, and the bolt release actually has an animated movement when finishing the reload instead of just doing the motion in the older MW2. the older game got a lot of the reload animations as right as they could at the time, but they didn't have the ability to animate the tiny details that actually make it "feel" real. The only thing the new one got noticeably wrong is the MP5 reload, the MP5 as configured for military use has a paddle release that OG MW2 actually got right. New MW2 intentionally fudged minor things on most weapons for legal reasons.

The gun firing sounds are better in MWII but the reload sounds in OG MW2 are so delicious. And while the reload animations in MWII are really good, and probably more beleivable, those beautifully smooth and purposefull reloads in OG MW2 are just so iconic and clean
