Hello chaps and chappesses, This is Francis K Kemble and part 26 of a 1967 BSA Lightning . Well the BSA is now running and this is a quick shot of the formerly rusty, dismantled and sad looking BSA actually running. I was in a rush and so had thrown the old clutch plates back in as you will hear but the BSA is alive. It's always a great day when you bring a bike back from from the dead and especially as this one had not run since the eighties. A mechanical issue has cropped up but more on that later.

The thumbnail to this is taken from the 1968 film " IF " starring Malcolm McDowell. he is seen here stealing the BSA from a bike dealer. it was filmed in and around my home town of Cheltenham. there was a motorcycle dealer in Cheltenham called H&L's with bikes like this that i would dream of owning one day, then i discovered cars.

New plates on the list- I re-used the old ones just to get it going.
