Vdo has that touch for mvc2 that only a few have. I put him up there with jwonggg. He adapts so well and doesn't turn the ball over, so to speak. Love his team. Top tiers can't even beat his low tier team.

Always rooting for players who use lower-tier teams. It's been 20 years already and I'm still sick and tired of seeing the same old Mag, Psy, Storm, Sentinel combo.

I don’t think I’ve mentioned enough how much I love VDO’s Rogue. Also, I didn’t get this alert and I would’ve watched as soon as I got it.

I often criticize VDO, because, BESIDES watching high level players like him, LuisMarvel, BraveYungJablez, and ThaRimRattler, I play Rogue and Colossus myself. I know how powerful the meta-abilities of hyper armor and Rogue's command grab and other under-utilized moves are. Despite possessing high level skill, VDO historically underperforms because he neglects strategies that incorporate these. At least until recently. Which, because this game has been around since 2001, means roughly the last 2 years. Today, I don't HAVE that criticism. He combined everything I've been mentioning. The result is everything I imagined and then some. THIS version of VDO I would lay good money on in a best 2 of 3 with Khaos. The only 3 players coming to mind right now that I wouldn't give VDO odds on, are Justin Wong, Locdown, and Duc Do, not because of anything wrong with VDO's game, but because the teams of those players can prevent lower tier characters from coming within legitimate physical striking distance. And VDO was so impressive here tonight that I'd tune in to matches against those 3 just to see if he COULD somehow pull it off. THANK YOU for posting this video.
